It says on the Digivolve menu, the babies and rookies all have a Base Personality above the requirements (here Tokomon has Base Personality of Enlightened)

I'm not sure what the earliest time you can do it is but
-When you trigger the regeneration mode (stand still for a few seconds), a little speech bubble shows up and you can talk to them
-It's 1 talk after about 5? fights (I dunno if there's other ways to proc it)
-They can ask 5 questions (1 for each heart/sun/infinite/handshake, and there's 1 talk that has all 4 choices. This is random as far as I can tell)

-If you are looking at your digimon in setup click the ''toggle info'' button and it shows you what each personality does
-If you are talking to them in the field, there's a ''check personality'' button and you can see exactly where your digimon is on the personality box (there's a little + showing where)

None of the rookies that devolve to Tokomon are in the demo afaik, so you have to pick Patamon or Gomamon and devolve down

I don't know if starter Pata/Goma's personalities are set but I think this is easier with Patamon:
-If you pick Patmon, You need Pata to get Enlightened and you can devolve to Tokomon and then Poyomon straight away
-If you pick Gomamon, You need Reckless to devolve to Bukamon, and after unlocking Bukamon THEN change to Enlightened to devolve to Poyomon to evolve normally to Bukamon

I can't help but be a little disappointed by the roster, there's some omissions that really annoys me.

I get the specific references to Aztec culture they're going for, he has a pectoral mirror like what you see with Anahuatl and his knife (named Aztec) summons spirits like how mirrors were said to be underworld gateways and emit omens, and Tezcatlipoca is tied to both of those things, though he's associated with Jaguars, not Wolves

But I don't get why they landed on a Aztec (or more generically, Indigenous American, I think there's some US/Canadian Indigenous theming in there too) theme for their Mercury/Hermes represantive.

Tlalocmon in any case is a huge step up in terms of research and theming, I legit think he might be the best Digimon design Bandai has done in terms of leveraging historical and mythological influences. Not that he looks anything like Tlaloc, but there's a lot of symbolism present that's used in inventive ways and taken into other visual directions, which can actually be harder to do then a straight up "Accurate" design

I was curious what if the bonus stat could go to 5 digits, but it caps at whatever it takes to get you to 9999, he one shot the Kuwagamon on hard. It's very easy to get overpowered through Load Enhancement. Just find a small corridor with a bunch of different digimon, kill them all, convert all the mobs, repeat a bunch of times, feed all the mobs into one digimon, repeat everything. It's really fast when you put difficulty on story/auto battle/x5 battle speed. The 200% scan boost is completely negligible since you can get 100 hp and 5 talent from just using a few lvl 4-5 Baby/Child digimon as food

You even grind both exp and money at the same time because the generic skills automatically go into your inventory after the digimon gets eaten and you will be able to sell them at a store. The skills seem to sell for a decent amount based on the Central Town section.

The bonus stats stay when you devolve or evolve so if you have enough bonus stats you can devolve to Koromon and evolve into another Child straight away without needing to level up, same for changing Adult forms later since this Agumon at lvl 1 meets the stat req for all the 5 Adult forms, it almost has the Bond Agumon stat req too.

I forgot to mention this in the post but I think with Load Enhancement you probably never have to devolve your main digimon (like ABI grinding in CS). You just feed them a ton of fodder and that increases their talent (level cap) and extra stats. If you need a specific generic attack, you can just level another digimon separately to get the attack and move it over, which will help every Ultimate evo especially the jogress ones.

You can for the stat requirement ones, you still can't see the ones that need the DigiEggs. If you are crazy enough you can even try to see all the babies/child/adults by changing personalities to devolve and evolving up. I don't recommend it though since that Sewer dungeon isn't a good grinding spot (long walk to even hit a few mobs and respawn them), you can't save so you need to do it all in one session, and nothing there will carry over.

-You probably want heals on someone fast or really slow so they heal before or after a boss
-Buffs don't count down until you actually get your action so you probably want it on someone fast or really slow to buff attackers
-Single target buffs can be used on the backline digimon (they don't count down while in backline either) while All target buffs cannot target backline and only affect the active digimon so you might want both somewhere in the team

Although I guess all the big attackers will probably feel the same and since items don't use turns you might not need dedicated healers either

There is a level of difference in sheer time commitment sure, but that doesn't change my main point that you have to go out of your way to exploit the system.
I'm 99% sure this feeding system is meant to just be used as a bonus to get over small stat requirements using all of the junk Digimon you pile up just going through the game normally, not staying in one spot to do so for what it still definitely going to be hours.

Going by anon's original post, you get 100 hp from lvl 4-5 baby digimon. With the example Hp bonus capping at 8354, that'd mean converting and grinding up 83 baby digimon to level 4-5 and then feeding them to a given Digimon. And you can't just do it all at once because you have to stop to use the conversion whenever you can. And this is only for one Digimon in your party.

No matter how you look at it it'd be incredibly tedious and obviously not the intended way to play.
