I firmly disagree with this. I do like Sally but I don't think that bias has anything to do with it. Archie would have become a romance drama series with or without Sally's continued presence in the comic. The only thing that would have improved is SALLY's reputation as a character being saved from the insane mischaracterization she suffered later. Sonic would still become controversial for being so involved with romance. The rest of the girls would still be all over him if not moreso. Amy would still be blocked from dating him due to her age which would remain a sore spot for Amy fans and a large reason why they don't like Archie.
Furthermore, I'm pretty sure the reason she was brought back wasn't out of any particular love but because Penders didn't have the authority to permanently kill off a Sega owned character onscreen in a comic aimed at children.

I can tell you don't spend a lot of time talking to gamefags because Amy tolerating Sally's existence is a level of patience that is just plain ubelievable for Amy's 2000s personality.
When Archie Amy was being mature and realistic about it, game Amy (The one Amy fans infinitely prefer) was seething every time Rouge so much as looked in Sonic's general direction.
If you presented an Amyfag with this information they would simply call the comic OOC and the beginning of Ian Flynn destroying Amy's character.

Satam objectively had less romance content per capita than Sonic X. The only thing it really had was (two) smooching scenes. People misremember Sally as the source of romance when Archie and every comic published under the Archie brand as a whole was heavily focused on teen romance.

I got in with a VPN and I can tell you, they might just ruin the game before it comes out. In the last update they haphazardly changed the fundamental rules of the main game-mode and invalidated multiple cards in doing so. Any strategy the game had before was obliterated by this change.
I may be biased, but when you go from a ruleset that allows 2-3 different decks to be meta to just 1, you've royally fucked up. I'm looking forward to the devs changing it back but it does not instill me with the confidence that this game will ever be good.

Also the timeline they set out earlier this month makes it sound like it's going to be a very long time before it's released to NA so sit tight and expect the game to be stillborn.

Come to think of it, other structures in Practice 2 don't seem to be compatible with Sonic as of the AutoDemo. He obviously can't complete that twisty loop, and those pinball rails do nothing. Perhaps they used to have a feature that allowed Sonic to stick to them in older builds. Say, if the devs wanted Sonic to roll through the pinball rails, they had a functionality that allowed Sonic to attach to the rails as long as he was in pinball mode. The loop could probably work with an automated path, but Practice 3 has a bunch of automated path tests, while this loop doesn't have an automated path spline. Practice 1 doesn't have automated paths either for its loops, but you can easily use those without one.
