I’m (one of?) the guy that used Yuri Faust. The idea was that with all those Gifts amping up the damage, focusing in survivability would be better. She can Evade and has Rupture, that in itself means she’d stay alive to fight longer and survive dodging high clashes while benefiting said gifts.
It’s one less Heishou sure but since there were other Heishous used they’d still trigger Hong Lu’s skills and follow up attacks (and this accidentally narrowed it down to Rooster Sinclair and Snake Rodion so it was guaranteed AoE spamming)
While other teammates were dealing 1.500~2.500+ damage on their S3, hers hovered in 800+ to 1.200.
My conclusion was that while the experiment worked, Cinq Mersault is likely a better unit to use in her slot. But I don’t have him so this is all I had and it’s what worked. (Seems like Maost she doesn’t count as a Poise unit for the 5 teammates gift)
Rabbit Heath and W Don were dodging and rolling 1.500+ damage with ease for comparison. They are the ones I advocate using.

Unless it's CN arknights lore I don't know, Seaborn are the offspring/internal ecosystem of 'The Firstborn', which are Feranmuts (essentially god-like entities on the planet, Tera) that had been genetically modified by an alien spacefaring race ('Predecessors') in an attempt to create a life form that could survive against the alien race above even them ('Observers') who are capable of destroying the concept of information.
While looking that up I realised yeah that last one is the lumberjack so must be CN lore but less about seaborn and more about the existential threat to the setting as a whole. Seaborn are just one failed project that tried to find a way to survive the Observers, the other is Originium a.k.a. Rock Cancer a.k.a. the central magic mcguffin of the setting.

The main difference is AK has hundreds of playable characters and you get random "class tickets" at stage ends (plus you are limited by an external resource so you can't pick up every good unit you see). So you do in fact rely on using what you get instead of starting with the best stuff out the box.
