melee influence is better not just because >meme influence, but because exalted blade's stats and what it is capable of makes it a good combo.
Melee afflictions is better on someone like baruuk because he ragdolls on every direct hit punch, while something like melee exposure is better on Atlas, His fists do so much raw damage that he will kill everything before he can even proc any other arcane, and even more raw damage just makes him kill everything more.
