Tama early on is just a nice safe pick, because she's the only Deflector restorer we have in Global, I think?
It's a niche use, but when going through the story it's nice to have given 31-A is basically story appropriate for almost the entire thing. And you're going to eventually run into bosses that can actually start ripping your Deflector apart, because you don't have all the later game Boosters, Chips, Charms, Tears, etc.

Wasn't sure if we had another by now. That being said, I can see that logic. While TamaSS1 is healer, she has buffer Memoria, so you can keep the deflector restore alive on other roles.

Pure healing sounds nice on paper, but realistically as all battles are an attrition thing where you'll lose in the long run, its better to just kill the Cancer faster.

This anon (I just realized I put Ice Adel at LB0, she should be LB1). I'm also trying to beat the SkullFeather/Plume anachrony and keep falling just short on the final phase - I can't quite build up enough DR for Yuri to finish the job. My teams and strategy are as follows

Head 1/2: Use one of Yotsuha's EX, one of Yunyun's EX, and one of Muua's EX on the Yuri. Build up one OD gauge, stack an exposure and EX from Miya and an Isuzu SS2 EX before finishing off with Yuri's EX.

Tail: Stack 4 of Tama SS5 EX and 4 multiattack ups on Chie, two of suit Megumi's EXs (after being buffed by Kozu SS1 EX+ each time), Yuki field, and a provoke from Chie. After further stacking an exposure from Megumi and Kozu SS2 EX, I can break the tail through a Chie SS2 EX. (Aoi is just there to sustain).

Head HP: I'm fairly close to OD3 at this point so I basically just try to build up as much DR as I can (usually can get around ~500%) and then double stack Yotsuha EX, YunYun EX, and Muua EX on Yuri. Double stack Isuzu SS2 EX and Fire defense down, and Enfeeble and exposure + 2 stacks of Miya SS2 EX before trying to finish them off with Yuri EX. The boss ends up with ~15% health left and from there I can't really do much more. Is there any way I can further optimize this? Would Mari SS4 work better as my damage dealer maybe?

there's also the orb that allows someone to restore their own deflector but that requires either equipping the orb or mastering it as well as using a skill slot. All for something you should be avoiding in the first place and might end up happening to someone else. dedicated deflector restorers have the benefit of being able to restore everybody

That's all fairly irrelevant because they nerfed EVERYTHING debuff to the point you don't need to care about weakness creators either. If you don't want to hit a weakness, stick to crit pierce.

In terms of biggest bang for your buck you probably still use Isuzu if you'd be so stupid and play light, but nobody is. Light's biggest advantage is all lost past nerfs, and Karen's unison just rubs it in, making EVERY SINGLE blaster irrelevant. (Considering how big Yuina was to light.. yeah)


Honestly, there's no point talking about meta anymore. It's simple. Extremely simple. High LBs on an as universal as possible team including Karen unison and the means to live.

Honestly, Yuina made the least sense to me. The whole point is that Yuki is in charge now and holding everything together. The characters state several times how much she is needed. finished the Miya event (I already played it in JP before), and I still have no idea how to feel about this event. I like the Miya backstory and stuff with her sister, and Myarallel World joke is pretty funny... but I don't care for pretty much anything else. Having Miya tag along with 31A not only just feel like a missed opportunity to develop 30G's relationship after Summer 2's ending, but it's also just distracting in how much it doesn't make sense timeline wise. The whole Ruka x Miya crackship is cute, but is pretty much irrelevant after this, she go back to being solely Yuina simp afterward, so I have no idea why it's even here.

Not sure if anyone here played Trails in the Sky the 3rd, but Miya's story reminded me of the moon door ministories with the orphan, the baby dragon, and an equally vague ending. For a harmless story it was quite divisive and some were quite mad that this nothingburger (the dragon was not real and nothing happened!) took a spot for exploring the backstories of some other characters. The stated theme of the story was that happiness comes in many forms and can be interpreted in different ways.

For an extremely JP-themed event I think Maeda gave it an extremely Japanese ending. "The moon is beautiful" is still making people seethe 150 years later.

It's a combination of general burn out after playing daily for months now, having other non-gacha games/VNs I want to play/read, and every time I hit a dungeon I just quit story mode for a few days because I don't want to deal with it. I hate the dungeons so much. I don't care about game play outside of SA. The dungeons have gotten hard enough that using a story accurate team barely cuts it but Inori-ing it would be boring and I get enough of that in SA.
