The way north american comp leagues (RGL only really) handles bans is incredibly dystopian
Just the fact of playing any comp matches or pugs with a banned player can get you in hot water, even if the match has nothign to do with RGL or RGL competitions
People get super worried if they hear that one of the players on their team was banned in a league for whatever reason because the extent of RGL admin's rules applies to apparently everything comp even beyond their league for some reason

meanwhile ETF2L and other non-american leagues do the logical thing of applying their bans and restrictions only to the official matches of their competitions rather than the "friendly matches" on scrims, pugs and practice matches

At first it was an Eviction Notice buff. Give it a bit of a passive speedboost so you'd have an alternative to the dominant GRU.
