Also most translations aren't worth reading anyways, the main characters will still sound weird or use awkward phrasing that doesn't read well in English. This shit is also true of most western VNs, the ones written by native speakers too. Most translators simply lack writing skills, they should probably stick to something else.

There isn't really much to translate besides some names and terms and even then you can get away with leaving them untranslated as long as they're properly explained beforehand in the context of the story. I'm pretty confident that the only line that's genuinely problematic is "the moon landing was a hoax", which I don't know how any translator could possibly avoid getting filtered over without simply deleting the entire line entirely, especially considering all the other stuff going on around it.

It's actually extremely easy since most of the language is very simple (even by japanese standards). It also doesn't take that many characters to form sentences because its a sci-fi VN where almost everything is named and described using nouns instead of verbs, adjectives etc.

The problem is that there's multiple scenes where he talks about his past and one of those is clearly referencing the moon landing happening shortly after his father died in a car crash while another mentions him being born during the moon landing. There's also an explanation of the moon landing being real in one of the earlier scenes as well. So if you delete the line about it being fake, it creates inconsistencies between different parts of the game unless you go back and remove or change other lines that reference it. That said, if you're smart enough not to notice that inconsistency, you might not care about it enough to make sure it never happens again.
