Too late, I'm well past the prologue. I also don't want to fuck up the rest of the game by accident, like getting council sessions where two contradictory etudes are called at the same time.

That's the thing I had the chance to do that first time, but a lot of her shit didn't happen (like the mongrel trader girl thing, and the knife). Because I categorize Wenduag as a neutral alignment companion, I wanted her as well as Lann for the "neutral" playthrough (not neutral in the DnD sense, neutral in the character archetype sense, i.e. neither villain nor paragon).
Admittedly, I have more than enough for a full team with Woljif, Greybor, Lann and Nenio and I don't really need another fighter either, so I can do without her.

It will be just the same good ol' vanilla game with some fixes ported from Temple+. If you already have GOG (or any other) version with Temple+, then there is no reason to be hyped about this release.

The cracks were starting to show very early on. The Cerberus plot is the second guiding narrative together with the Reaper invasion and it deteriorates in quality at an exponential rate as the game goes on.

I think Act 2 really suffered from being linear with how the leveling system will kick your ass if you're even a few levels lower than your enemy, and taking the pressure off makes me more incentivised to explore and do everything.

Sure, Warhammer 1 looks better, but it is not nearly as good as 2 or 3. For multiplayer, 2 is the best one, with the most balanced gameplay. For single player, 3 is the best one, with the best new factions (the Warhammer 2 factions are almost all terrible).

I would love it, though while Fantasy is infinitely more tolerant than 40k, the reaction to a High Elf of Dwarf walking into a port city would be much different than a normal human. So your choices for a main character will likely just be Imperial and Imperial (wizard). You can branch off from there though, there are a lot of paths a bog standard human can go down in Fantasy, especially a super special MC, like Grail Knight or Vampire or Chaos Champion.

Camellia is a tank. In fact, she's a much better tank than Seelah could ever hope to be especially early game. Cam pumping dex for AC, standing in the way, and spamming hexes, particularly Evil Eye, will get you through a lot of the game if you're lacking a frontliner. you'll die to a single crit and without protective luck nothing is going to stop them.

moreover, from a practical perspective: i've seen the "camilla tank" build. it is a build that needs half of your earned gold for an exclusive ring and the best armor (mithril +2) of act 1. yes you can do it but you have limited resources and items. spending those to make a full caster into a mediocre tank is liable to get you killed.

No, it is. Beyond act 1 the decisions presented to you are extremely basic; usually just kill someone unnecessarily (which almost always just locks you out of content) or do what they ask. This gives an illusion of choice where none really exist. There are basically no difficult decisions. The game is really averse to punishing you for making tough decisions; almost always the correct decision in terms of content and material rewards is to be the nice guy.
RT does this much better; even simply keeping companions alive come with a cost; e.g. some companions have done horrible shit and you genuinely have to consider whether it's worth keeping them around, especially while other companions are outright demanding you execute them.
Build variety is worse than wotr but this isn't necessarily a bad thing because you could argue wotr's build variety is bloated.
Items in BG3 are notably worse than wotr. Tbf, wotr greatly exceeds in this regard; you're constantly finding unique items that actually make you think about how you could incorporate them into your builds.
Rogue Trader does a better job in roleplaying. In BG3 you're simply an adventurer, which is the default role in DnD. It does this role well, it's just not particularly interesting. RT does a better job depicting what it's like to be an extremely powerful person in an interplay between other extremely powerful individuals and factions.
BG3 excels at environmental interaction. Being able to move shit around isn't particularly important but it makes the world feel a lot more real.
It also excels at facilitating creativity. In wotr you basically just walk up to enemies to aggro them and fight. In BG3 you can use stealth and proper positioning to gain a tangible advantage. The main issue in this regard is that BG3 isn't difficult enough to warrant this creativity.
So yes, I can think of some ways where BG3 is notably better and worse than competitors

Do you mean the events and people in the Bible and relevant figures (theologians, shapers of thought or saints in the case of catholics/orthodox) all existed in that world or at least had an equivalent that did the exact same thing or that the denisens of that world learned of Christianity externally. Since given that in the frame of that religion the species of that world do their own thing there is bound to be historical differences in the narrative with fantasy races being a thing. And also depends on is it meant to be true in universe or ambiguous like the Maker in Dragon Age. If it's true then that world having their own Christ figure and the christian deity interacting with them in another way since there are multiple sapient species, which get the Christ figure or do they get the Christ figure being sacrificed to each through multiple incarnations in each respective species' likeness to show the deity's tie with each of them etc. Lots of things you could do with the setup. Opportunities for theological and species conflict based on interpritations/heresies/reformations/OC offshoots that don't exist in the real world like say maybe you have elves that mix their own previous religion with it or something, a mormon scenario with a new prophet. A skilled writer could make this work quite well.

Finally playing Kingmaker for the first time after beating WotR four times. Any major differences I should know about? I'm assuming it's not like WoR where almost every enemy is chaotic evil and usually a demon so I'd need to be prepared for a wider variety of threats, but are any of the classes particularly busted? I think I remember reading Alchemist and Bard are way better in it because there's a companion for each of those classes and they both got way more item support?

No, it's a reflex save but the save is rolled with a 1d6 instead of a 1d20. It doesn't tell you this.
though, it pretends a roll of 1d20 was made. Sometimes in order to conceal this fact, like maybe by rolling a 1d100 and if it's 100, it will give you a number 1d10+10 to pretend like the save rolls go above 10. This is genuinely incorrect, only like five of the classes have a base class be objectively the best with no reason to ever touch the base one. The real issues are:
1) Some of them are blatantly not designed for the sort of campaign WotR is.
2) Some classes like Alchemist get basically no dedicated item support for their main feature (bombs) and so the subclasses focused on other shit are preferable.

I always make sure that my protagonist is a melee character.
