You saw that affect you got when you have a full team wipe where both Zenos gang up on the wiped team? If you beat the Oozaru boss, you got a shit ton of health / armor and both Zenos would gang up on the enemy.
Combine that with GoDs taking damage normally without needing Gekishin attacks (so you show up, you ult on him and the enemy team can't do shit) and whoever got him won the game like 99% of the time.

Getting the last hit on it gave an effect equivalent to both getting a max burst and a team wipe. The whole team got a shitload of bonus HP and double zeno attack (back when his whacks actually dealt a bit of damage to attrit down GoDs). Issue with map objectives like him is that the team which is already ahead has the better chance to get him making them more ahead and just force ending the match several minutes early with no chance to fight back instead of being a back and forth decider or even comeback chance for the losing team.
Sucks that he's gone entirely because he was kino to fight but there's no way to balance something that big as a winning team bonus. Really he should just be a stage hazard you could kill.

Rayquayza grants the team that got it a massive HP shield, an attack boost, increased speed when scoring, and made you uninterruptible while scoring. Meaning that the team who manages to snag Ray Shields 1st basically won the game, which made it feel like even if your team played like GoDs, all the enemy had to do was just get Ray and win.
Groudon is similar, giving you an attack boost and increased scoring speed when you nab it. The biggest differences being that: you can be interuppetd when you're scoring, the shield you get is damn near non-existant, and if an enemy KOs you, THEY steal that buff for themselves. Meaning how your team did in earlier in the match actually felt like it mattered, and you didn't have to pray to flip it in your favor.

TL;DR, Ray felt like an instant win when you get it, Don feels like a "Which team ACTUALLY played better in this match".

Arm is enormous, float is good too, it's not krillin trap level but it can control where an enemy moves and in scenarios like contesting GoD or the minibosses it's very useful. His blast is a blast.
Big thing is he also has krillin's boosted rush, every X attacks he shits out a larger blast that chunks enemies, and arm will set you up for another large blast, regardless of if you hit an enemy or wall. But he's not meant for sustained fights, he has very little HP, so he's good for chasing enemies who you know won't turn, or weaving in to geta combo off, then weaving out since arm is also fantastic escape.
He doesn't have a free heal- I mean transformation like other crutch characters, so just be mindful of how quickly you die.

This is his passive
Basically, whenever he's in stealth mode (hiding in clouds or bushes or etc) he gets stronger and his skills hit you harder. It also applies debuffs to you which makes you slow as shit and easily die.
The key is when you know they have a Hit to stay in the open areas. Also long range hits (Kamehameha) and AoE attacks knock him senseless and are a good way of seeing if he's hiding somewhere

Problem is hellzone trap's level 1 is a wasted talent. At 2 it's okay but still not entirely reliable when all the good DPS and tanks have gap closers that ignore the movement slow can can shrug off the little damage they get from 1 or 2 procs.
You want to rush those points into Light Grenade, especially with the incoming buff.

Did they explain how it's gonna work? They just vaguely claimed characters will be added will be added, and the star collection of some characters will be lowered. So say, a character like Freeza can be dropped from tier 3 to 4, 17 from tier 2 to 3, Hit from tier 2 to 1, and then SS3 Goku/Toppo/Gotenks are added to tier 1... That's how I'd expect it to work at least. So I won't expect Goku/Toppo/Gotenks to be easily obtainable, with the newest character always being at tier 1, since it's the rarest. This means everyone who got a character from tier 1 at level 31 will take much longer to be capable of getting Goku/Toppo/Gotenks.

I personally like 17, he's got a great set of shields, and his other abilities are good.
Frieza is very VERY simple, but doesn't hold up at higher ranks, even though he's great for zone control/defense. His skills take too long to burst while your teammates are fighting, so he's pretty bad on the offense side.
Hit is very, surprisingly, DECEPTIVELY simple. You go invis, you use your beam, you grapple, repeat, while grapple is on cooldown, you invis then hit to reduce their vision, you can knock someone well out of a fight with some persistence before they're a threat. One of the few ways I've been able to handle coolers who know what they're doing in high A/low S is by playing hit and keeping the pressure on, you can fear of death them into not being able to react to ults to null them.
Krillin isn't hard to use either, his traps are fun and most people still don't understand any energy attack destroys them.
You can make any of them work, buu and frieza are pretty objectively the worst in terms of utility later on, buu for his hp and shit ult, frieza for his huge cds, but any of them will be fine for occasional play.

Super has very little in the ways of plot compared to Z which I think could make ot harder to adapt for an RPG, as it would require more game-oroginal side-quests to give the story any structure other than jumping from fight to fight. Except for Zamasu arc I guess. DLCs would be actually the proper way to adapt Super. Also, Z is simply orders of magnitude more iconic, that's why there has never been a Super game.

I think Kakarot could have made a fine Z ARPG, but it wasn't executed well enough. Goku being dead and the game switching to Gohan, Vegito and Piccolo many times were obviously my biggest reasons why. Especially because these could have been perfect opportunities to see what training with King Kai was like the first two times, and the training in yardrat. Games have adapted at least two of these, it felt like a miss omitting them.
I didn't think the side quests were really that great either. The quality shot up during the DLC, but I can only really remember the Yamcha one outside of them.
As for the actual open world, there wasn't really much to do besides collecting material. It needed more mini games. The racing thing was fun, for instance. Baseball too. Even though they were way too simple

All in all, it didn't really feel like a living breathing dragon ball world. Instead of having him make fat woman Jeice, they should have gotten Toriyama to oversee the worldbuilding and visual aspect like he did for DBO. If and when this CCT/Shueisha thing gets resolved, as far as the games go, the officials really need to be more hands-on with these games, otherwise the developers crack under scamco's pressure and can't deliver on certain aspects.

And I agree with Super not being ARPG material. It's probably never getting a standalone game, but I'm still holding out hope for a single arena fighter because otherwise its arcs are going to be half assed and anyone that debuted in it that aren't a Saiyan or a main villain will be shafted.
