Hammer - Eli "The Hebrew Hammer" Goldberg
An old, former boxer looking to get his heart fixed after what he calls a "deal with the devil." His heart, essentially a magical pacemaker, keeps him in debt to the "surgeon" he got it from.

Hammer has a Heat meter tied to the magical effects of his pacemaker. As the Heat meter gets higher from him taking damage, he does additional burning spirit damage on his gun and melee attacks, but if it gets too high, he will explode, causing an AOE around him and stunning him temporarily.

Gun - A pair or small snub-nose revolvers with brass knuckles attached to the grip
1 - Advancing Haymaker
Avoids all damage/incoming spells for .1 sec and swings forward a short distance, causing a stun if it connects. While strong on startup, it is risky if it doesn't connect as there is a miss animation
2 - Duck and Weave
Upon activation Hammer moves at double speed and avoids all bullets damage, including on-hit effects. Hammer cannot attack or use skills during this but can melee and parry (essentially like carrying urn)
3 - Pastrami on Rye
Hammer stops, pulls out a sandwich made by his lovely wife before the fight and takes a bite. He recovers a small portion of HP and reduces his Heat.
4 - The Fighter's Spirit
Hammer's heart ignites, creating a burning aura around him. He has maximum Heat meter during ult, and the meter resets to 0 after ult. Any kill he gets during ult extends ult duration.

I came back to Deadlock after a long break and the game feels better than when I last played but I do wonder why they even made this game. The game isn't a evolution of MOBA's, it doesn't improve or innovate anything about MOBA's, it still has all the unintuitive autism of MOBA's. Icefrog's so called passion project is just DOTA with guns.

If the game is going to be successful it will have to replace DOTA and convert dotards into deadlockers. I Don't think the game will convert many shooterfags because it is 90% MOBA and 10% shooter, being good at shooters is completely useless in this game without some MOBA knowledge.

Feels like less of a inspired passion project and more like Gaben asked Icefrog for a new multiplayer game and this is the what he came up with.
