They're probably going to be decommissioned. Without a carrier, they have no value to anyone. They're very outdated compared to other modern Flankers. It has the same radar N001K radar and can't even use Fox-3 missiles.
Could they update them to the Su-35S standard today? Sure, but since there are fewer than 20 in service right now, the cost per airframe would be immense, and without a carrier for them to operate from there isn't much point. It belongs in a museum.
My mind's on the Mig-29Ks, they're still quite modern.

there was a thing from zvezdanews where they showcased su33s with, apparently, an su30sm's cockpit. i assume they brought them up to a new standard - which probably means they changed the avionics as well to support fox threes.

In general, I found the ps2 games to be easy, even on ace difficulty, once you figure out the tricks and use save states. I’ve done one full run on 04 ace without dying. (Albeit two A ranks and the rest were S no save states used). 05 ace had two deaths and two A ranks one of which was being stuck with the F-5. Zero I did with five -_- deaths all S rank knight run damn sams on valley of the kings.

7 is more difficult especially if you want those cursed time-limited bullshit S ranks, and X is straight up torture.
I’m super bad at X.

Yeah they're pretty easy.
>I'm not sure how you would up the difficulty in a non-annoying way.
Depends on what you consider annoying but we've seen a couple of ways:
A) Zero path: Bigger emphasis on Ace enemies and special gimmicks on those planes.
B) 3 path: Adding more realistic aspects to add more complexity to each encounter.
C) Project Wingman path: A selection of enemy units and the main bosses have special attacks that require a different response than the usual missile alert does, and higher difficulties add more of these units.
>>541517368
>and use save states
I agree that the PS2 games aren't particularly hard but part of their difficulty was the lack of checkpoints, that may fall more on the annoying side of increasing difficulty but it's still there and you're completely erasing the strain of continous combat out of the equation.
Anonymous No.541528016
>>541525624
They’re cheap to fly and good enough to bomb enemies in uncontested airspace. They have also been upgrading them, it’s just kinda hard to justify making a new subsonic bomber in the vein of the B-52 without any stealth features, given that the US has started caring about near peer conflicts again. Every other strategic bomber in US service is more advanced and generally more capable, but they just cost more to fly.

It's built on the same framework as ACX. However, it includes a "Hold an angle long enough and get a magic manoeuvre that puts the enemy straight in your sights" mechanic to compensate for the 3DS's clunky controls.

It could very well be one. Not that any gives a fuck about story in a Battlefield game, but Pax Armata is supposed to be an alliance of nations going against NATO but not aligned with Russia or China. Maybe Brazil joined up with them in universe. Or someone at DICE was looking at Wikipedia one day and saw that on the Gripen's page and suggested it as another name to use.

Because Russia's no longer scary enough to be the opfor and writing the plot around China fighting and losing against the US would be financial suicide, since they would boycott the shit out of it and likely stir shit up online.

Frankly I'm still not sure what the fuck they are, I know two of the subfactions for them in multiplayer are Italian and Spanish units and the marketing mentions NATO fracturing. Though if it actual nations banding together I find those funny choices because both Italy and Spain got really butthurt about the 5% spending thing recently. Also unrelated for some reason, NATO has a Gepard as their SPAA while Pax has a Gepard with FUTURISTIC ANGULAR METAL welded onto it. Honestly I don't really care too much because I liked the open beta, I just find it amusing because of my military vehicle autism.

A lot of Pax Armata's design decisions start making a lot of sense when you put them into context as a massive mercenary group. They're looking for investors, so they prioritise looking flash over any actual combat effectiveness. That's why all their shit looks like futuristic-but-cheap gear bought off Alibaba or something, because it probably IS.

At the end of the day, Megalith is just an ICBM launch facility. Take out those ICBMs, and it just becomes Strangereal's most expensive airbase.
While Zero might not make it feel that way, I think Excalibur might be the most dangerous superweapon in the series.
We're never given a maximum range for it, and M8 implies that Belka was using satellites to make it strike anywhere on the battlefield. That itself would imply it could strike anywhere on the planet if Belka gets to launch enough satellites.
The Arse Birds get an honorable mention because it feels like they were designed to counter singularities. Although I may be reading into them too much.

No need for that. The Birds were wirelessly and constantly charged by the ISEV, (it's why you and Stonehenge deliberately targeted both Birds' rectenna to shoot them down) and Avril mentions in M19 that the Elevators transmission "covers exactly half the globe".

Right, and the range shown on the briefing screens was more about keeping at least one near the ISEV to defend the elevator itself. Theoretically, with more Arsenal Birds, they could patrol that whole half of the planet. Combine that with the drone factories and then you can send Raven swarms to attack the other half, at which point the issue becomes procuring enough fuel and materials for the factories. But that goes above and beyond the 'single superweapon' thing.

However, his true end goal is to bring about world peace by making Yamato into an ungovernable nuclear power that keeps the world at peace by threatening warring states with nuclear attacks. That's what I got from the first season

I know next to nothing about submarines, but man, this show is a genuine surprise as to 3how well-made it is. It looks there will be a sequel season too, set in the Arctic Ocean this time.

Think I still have it, it's basically the closest you can get to a game entirely made up of AssHor's helicopter levels. Certified Britjank classic imo, you only get one fictional helicopter but fight real ones. You can also chop up infantry with the helicopter blades like a psycho, which is something I spent a disturbing amount of time doing as a nugget.

Anyways I kinda wish we had more helicopter combat games that aren't shmups like the old Strike games. If I had any talent or drive or business sense I'd make it myself.

I find the way super weapons are balanced in these games very odd, because they either aren't or they lose all the appeal of a super weapon, take the MPBM, sure you could do what they did on 7 and make it awful or you could add requirements for it to be powerful but hard to use, launch angle was a good one, but maybe you need to at least go Mach 1.5, or it should have a big lock on time, you need to hold the launch button while it revs up the engine. I'm throwing any idea that comes to my head at the wall but playing the other AC made me realize that big powerful weapons don't have to be shit or break the game.

As soon as the mission starts hit the gas and dive switch to cockpit mode then in 3rd person once your near the ground. By the time Pops finishes talking you should be between 1/4-1/2 way the to the objective yeah don't slow down but once or twice.
You won't see the drop tanks on your plane they will just spawn and drop a few moments after Pop finishes his stuff. 1st time they launched forward 2nd time they dropped like normal.

Its the best low cost anti drone weapon right now.
Even the French made their own version just recently. Drones have made a lot of old weapons suddenly useful again just modernized and way more deadly than they use to be.
Soon everything will carry them you'll see Toyota's with a 50 pack in the bed before long.

I've never see anyone add in the 2 tracks from Top Gun to mimic the opening scenes with this.
