If you think you can handle it, holodeck hazards with an EXP boost active. It's a joke when you're just leveling stuff up for the sake of it lategame, but I remember it being relatively challenging when grinding early on, mostly because of the HP boosts and the random factor. The good thing is that it no longer requires energy refills, you can just try as much as you want.

Nowadays prize fights also give decent XP for leveling up, but it's only truly ever noticeable at high streaks, which might make things harder. The monthly PF has been tweaked to give A LOT of XP if you leave an EXP boost on, I remember 60% of my grind to get from levels 70 to 80 was thanks to this.

I'll say that I like their artstyle and it is a pretty good Annie design (I'm not an artist so maybe I'm looking at it through untrained eyes). But I see your point. I think there's also an unusual trend that they have of gaslighting themselves into believing that the game is far, far more sexualized than it really is.

They note the miniskirt, which is by far the only thing even close to sexual in Annie's design. At no point in Skullgirls is Annie in any way sexualized as compared to, say, Valentine and her thermometer. Her skirt to me feels like it compliments Annie's character: an adult trapped in a young teen's body and wearing something like a miniskirt is an attempt to wear "adult clothes" instead of super frilly dress-up clothes.
