It'd dead in terms of probably not getting any more games but there's been a pretty big resurgence in zoomers playing it. I'd say it's the 3rd most played anime fg at the moment behind strive and uni2 and it's not very far behind uni2 at all.

My opinion of gbvs has been that it is not a particularly good fighting game but it is still really fun. I wouldn't ever take it too seriously but I don't have to because of how easy it is to play.
There is a demo on steam for free with rotating characters if you want to try it, you can play online even. Also, the general actually plays the game which is nice.

No. Lumina doesn't have the refinement of older games because it got abandoned too soon. It isn't terrible(way better than the mess it was on release) but it is far from a finished product like AACC is.

i've played on it. The person I was playing with was trying to tell me it has different balance because some things feel faster and are less reactable than on 60 but I couldn't see it. He got 2nd at CEO that year so he was probably right.
You want to see some fucked up frame data check out doujin engine games that run at 100fps. You'll have a -10 move and it'll be jab punishable and only jab punishable.
