It's fun having to actually use CDs in the world and getting nervous when I aggro multiple buffed enemies, but my experience so far has been questing until my ilvl falls behind, go run a few dungeons, then go back to questing.

Decided to play spriest for remix and I've been on Heroic World since level 17 except for a brief stint around level 72. I'm back on heroic and am just under ilevel 600. I am still getting absolutely mogged sometimes, but other times are much more doable. Meanwhile I see other players blasting away like it's nothing. Am I doing something wrong? Do spriests just suck? I gotta thank what ever dev decided to make Legion the next Remix. It's finally made it impossible for Legion glazers to pretend Legion was the peak of the game, had the best PVE content and the best writing.
People were shitting on Legion and it's writing all expansion. The only reason Legion's glazed so heavily now is because majority the people with actual taste who shat on the expansion moved on after Legion. This gave the 7.3 babies the chance to change the narrative in their favour.

They are the real casuals, moms and dads who get a little transmog, quest a bit, maybe do a delve and just play here and there. How big is the award difference between regular Lemix and Heroic World Tier Lemix? Is it actually worth doing Heroic while leveling?

on retail you can play together without joining their server. retail realms have their static trade chats and non-comodities are split into multiple auction houses for all the realm groups but after that things are flexible. even the rp realms you can be grouped into by someone there. realms hosted at the same place have a lot of natural crossover in the world to keep zones fuller (it's far from perfect) and you can group with anyone in the region. cross faction is a bit of an issue where world grouping doesn't work totally perfectly like it's same faction and queued content needs a full mixed group to queue. guilds and communities are crossfaction. don't know if this has been fixed but if find you can't group crossfaction through the command line you can do it in guilds/communities.

probably not what you're asking but last restriction of characters was the dracthyr that was 1 per realm because it was boosted in dragonflight. that's over. you can make characters all over. 1 everywhere up to the account max if you want.

can't so much as mail non-warband items to your own characters between cross realm groups but "just dump it in the warbank" works for most people to transfer things. the 2hr cooldown on that should be good enough most of the time to where you can avoid going to the bank quite a bit. worst part of crossrealm is not having the direct mail to storage (having to pick things out of the wb later), or to be able pass out consumables then pickup at any mail box quickly. rarely you can have the shards (copies of zones) merged because of low population and the summoned warbank can just disappear on you too.

I can't imagine playing remix as a non tank like you die to every single mechanic on raids
