If you're really lucky, you can also get them from Tasks. Once you have 10, you can go to Iwai's shop (in the overworld, not through the Contracts menu), you can buy a 5* weapon for 10 coins. Summer event at least shows she can actually have fun in the group and actually go along with ridiculous situations, but at the same time she's a natural killjoy. The two most common buffers at endgame are Dionysus for +crit and Dominion for +attack. Both get a pretty high rank '+speed/-def' passive skill without any outside training if I recall. It's a big enough +speed that the MC should outpace any non-speed stacking character while it is equipped, if that persona is the first equipped.

You'll want to have at least 2 personas that can inflict ailments because of Technician.

Soft Pity as a concept is something that occurs quietly before that maximum counter
There's no evidence Soft Pity exists in global, as traditionally any existing Soft Pity would mean you RARELY see 80 rather than constantly

To use the common examples of Genshin and HSR, their Hard Pity is 90. But Soft Pity begins ~70. It gives a small increase that grows from pull to pull. The end result is people often hit at 75-80 and going to 90 is phenomenally unlikely.

For the heck of it I tried to figure out how big defense in this game is, because trusting people to say 100% def shred is good is one thing, but I wanted to check.

So, cut short, enemies have different def values, where trash usually has fairly little base defense (300 ish) and boss' can gain above 1000. Endgame adds a multiplier to this that's usually in the 2.5 to 3x range, bringing defense of boss' up to 2500-3000 ish.

As an example I gave an enemy 1000 base defense multiplied by 2.5 for 2500 defense. What happens if you reduce this defense by 50% (i.e. via. Rin's maxed skill 1): +47% damage dealt.
What happens if you shred the rest of this defense: +89% damage dealt for a total of +178% total damage compared to 0 def shred.


Well. That explains why people say that def should be ideally reduced to 0. Considering there's even higher def values out there.. holy shit. You can easily see how impactful the def is when you do some of the stages with a boss and ads, the ads often take way more damage for this reason. Looking at the details of how it works.. yeah. It all makes sense. A team without good def shred will be severely suffering.

I think people here generally don't really know what's good and what isn't.
Futaba is good and the biggest reason is: Def shred. Wind has this as well and is the big reason why she can even compete against Phoebe. Otherwise Phoebe would just completely BTFO Wind in every single scenario.

Now you need MORE def shred on top, because just them isn't enough. This is why Marian and STomoko with one dupe each are so nice, as they bring def shred to the sustain slot. (20% for the former, 15% stacking up to 3 times for 45% via STomoko, STomoko's 5* weapon also has 12%)

So for example if you want to play a Makoto team with Granny, adding a 5th slot with further def shred is really good because you already have a good amount via Granny. And this extra def shred has A TON of value. Like this Ayaka also has meaning. If you DO NOT have def shred, Ayaka is actually a pretty shit support. Notably, pierce = def shred. Stacks additive with it, and 100% is what you ideally want in any team.


Also note that Wonder can also fuck with def, though largely single target, and the wind ailment def shred is a MULTIPLIER, aka crap and doesn't count. (i.e. if you have 88% of def shred/pierce and think the 12% from the wind ailment helps.. no. You just get 89.5%...)
Basic team building in the future will always want 100% shred in one way or another, or at least as close to his as possible. Right now you may not always be able to do so, but against endgame boss' this is like triple damage. Other buffs have much less impact.

But look at how tiny the symbols are. There's three different yellow symbols on the order row in this screenshot. On a phone screen each of those is literally two millimeters in size. In a way, I don't think the story is that bad. The character interactions are all pretty good still at least. However the palace stuff is kind of iffy. Riko is pretty much going to be the make or break in regards to writing. If she integrates well into the group, I think despite some of the spottier aspects the story will still have enjoyable parts. However if she doesn't, it's just going to be P5 all over again.

I made two milk teas early before I was rank 17, but I just blew my load today.
My first 5 milk teas (including my first two before rank 17) were ones that give 2 AP; the remaining teas give 3 AP -- I'm guessing you need to make 5 teas before you unlock the delicious tea.
The bonus worked out such that I spent 18 assam teas and got 7 bonus milk teas for a total of 25 milk teas made today (not counting my original two before rank 17).
In total today: 72AP = 14.4 in-game days just from using teas saved up over 9 weeks, i.e. 8AP (1.6 in-game days) per real-life week.
