Possibly both, don't know if you already have decent tracking in another game but you have to get used to Overwatch before you can totally transfer it. The biggest reason for this is in Overwatch characters instantly start at max speed when they begin moving or change strafe keys. In almost any other FPS they accelerate up to full walking speed for a split second every single time they change direction or start moving, so aiming is just different in this game. Before they increased the bullet sizes ADAD battles honestly could feel a little luck based unless you have insane reaction speed.

Pretty much. You are a great distraction.
With the burrow, Venture can get behind the enemy and they deal some chip damage while jumping out. The rightclick lets them deal pretty good damage and it isolates an enemy from the team leading to easy pickings on dps and support, and can also sometimes let you kill distracted tanks.
One of their tier 2 perks is really good, it gives you increased range on the primary, but also gives health and most importantly an instant reload. Essentially what you can do now is shoot a clip, burrow to safety for a free reload, shoot that clip, press e for another free reload.
It can be a little hard to grasp their kit but they are a fun champ to play when you get the hang of it, really good mobility and really fun to fuck around with their vertical mobility.
Also if you're playing ranked, remember to ban Cassidy. He is Venture's biggest headache.

I never got into OW1, I like it better now that the non FPS deathmatchy stuff has been toned down a tad just to the right amount for my tastes. I love it for the combat. Straight up FPS without aim down sights, obnoxious recoil mechanics, an arsenal of assault rifles/machine guns that are mechanically identical just with different stats, no goofy "gunplay" mechanics like crazy recoil patterns or things resulting in bullets not going where you're aiming, or a sprint button. Soldier 76 has a sprint ability but it's different cause it just makes him go faster, it's not like sprint button FPS games where movement is gimped by default unless you're sprinting (CoD, Battlefield, etc.) I come from TF2 and Quake. Marvel Rivals doesn't have nearly the same appeal because it's for people who liked OW for non-FPS reasons. Also the tanks all feel like variations on the Sigma/omnic form spam thing but they don't feel nearly as satisfying to hit with as Sigma balls. I like that in OW2 supports actually get to fight and you get to fight them basically as equals, I like more fighting. There are a few characters in Rivals that I think are fun but it's all DPS for me, whereas in OW2 I enjoy most of the roster. Rivals heroes tend to have too many buttons to press that aren't as elegantly woven into the hero design (my opinion). Playing with all the Overwatch hero abilities and non-aim heroes is fun, too, and they don't get in the way of the FPS experience for when that's what you're in the mood for.

he's talking about the slam cooldown itself. whipping ball DURING his slam animation isn't really optimal (unless the little bit of healing someone will get in that fraction of a second will save them from dying to the slam) because it's not going to stop the slam or its trajectory. its better to wait until he lands a quarter of a second later so that you still proc inspire but you actually push him away. Or better yet, whip him before he starts his slam

I regularly whip slams which knock him off high ground or stop his kill. Most of the time the only opportunity to even be in range to whipshot him as at the apex of his slam when he flies in for an engage.
