Board is separate from starring up. Just get the good rainbow tiles on the 1st board from literally any apostles you own (crit & atk>HP & crit defence). You eventually get all the good tiles on ALL of your characters, and that is when you start opening up the second boards. That's a long ways away and there is some KR autism order that will probably be shared by then. It doesn't matter what character you're spending crayons on, it's what tiles you're spending them on.

But yeah, it's not a dedicated /trick/ guild, at least half are just randoms. Feel free to switch guilds or make your own when you've got the option to.
Make sure to keep in mind when joining or making a guild of your own: it costs 300 crystal leaf (free is fine) to make a guild. You only get 10 characters for the guild name and it must not be taken by anyone else.
Also general guild information: You can have up to five pets on the farm (you get one rabbit the first time you join a guild, you can buy more free pets with the farm currency you grind later), and you can only place them on two separate areas (though you may get more options in the future as you can upgrade).

Clone factory seems to have increments where you can farm the same cards at higher rates/difficulties. You have the easy early level ones, then the power spikes but the rates go up a little too. Do the highest level that has the specific card drops you want.
