His damage with M1 is not high and Yat Yee does around 110 dmg/s which isn't high for a diver. Your burst finisher is also your escape.
As IF you don't mindlessly pop dragon's defence or kick unless you want to die. Both of your offensive tools are also your defensive ones.
You typically engage with just M1 and pop either dragon's defence or kick for damage and save the other for escape.
With just M1 spam you deal 30 dmg every 0.45s which is lower dmg/s than Hulk and Thing with the fifth strike doing 55 dmg with a wider 0.67s gap.

Daredevil does way higher burst and consistent damage than Iron Fist. Iron Fists mobility, melee pull and dragon's defence are his strengths. Not his damage unless you're hitting vanguards with Yat Yee.
