From my (by now I'd say somewhat extensive) experience since swapping the cards I'm getting about 50k more fans a run. Just to make it clear, again, I don't disagree with the fact that Kita and other more useful cards could guarantee some more wins, it's just based on my experience so far the average fan gain is much lower using them. Perhaps, that perception is biased by the game's rng and my personal experience so far. As to not put your genuine advice to waste, allow me to ask what deck would you recommend for a fan run with Daiwa Scarlet with what's available to me?

my fan deck is kita, cafe, tachyon, sunday, creek (satono works too) and you can either borrow biko or bakushin depending on whether you feel you need more speed or more other stats with your current deck
I might only lose one or two early races per career with that deck if pace oguri fucks up but I never lose any of the later races, the skills you get from these cards should make up for lower stats
you need to adjust the races you run based on how lucky/unlucky you got during junior year as well, on some umas I don't think it's worth running junior year races other than the early november and the early dec mile/hopeless and you should instead just boost speed as high as you can with a decent wit baseline as insurance for future races
for an uma like daiwa you should probably just run her front as well, the consistency from front outweighs any pace skills you might get and you can just stat check most races if you manage to stay ahead of the curve on speed training early on
the tricky part if you don't have creek will be stamina since you won't have many good recovery skill options, but you can also say fuck wit training and instead do speed + stam with satono and cafe and stat check those races that way at the expense of making other races less consistent (though you'd need like 650-700 raw stam by april to stop yourself from getting creeked on tenno sho)
an underestimated component of fan races is how tedious they are and how shit it feels to even lose a single race, so taking kita is absolutely 100% worth it over whatever you were taking before

Yeah, 650/700 stam is not happening by early April, that is an insanely high number. My best stam parents get me about 100 stam from the initial inheritance. The tenno sho isn't actually what I'm "usually" losing. I'm most of the time failing the Mile G1's in classic year, which is why I've been more focused on Speed and Power. I'll try running her as a front for a few runs and see how it goes. I'm trying some "better" cards this run (picrel) and see how it goes.

I run oguri cap over daiwa since she can do dirt races as well, I get >800k 100% of the time but I could get at least 900k if I played more risky, I would play maru but I don't have her
you can do fan runs however you want, some people are happy to run every single race and letting some careers crash and burn if it gives them a chance at hitting 1 mil, and some prefer safely and only doing long streaks of races at the end of classic/senior and doing training instead of optional g3s, you'll have to adapt between the two during each career if your goal is to maximise fan output over a long period of time
for now you should probably limit test to see what the minimum stat line you can get away with for a near 100% success rate on the g1s over each year

The typical Seiun Sky deck is 3 speed, 2 power, 1 wit and doesn't often max speed but gets between 1k and 1.2k. You need mlb kita and mlb SRs, but you don't need a full deck of ssrs. They help of course though. But for example, a deck like Kita, King Halo, Sweep, Biwa, Bourbon, Dober should be able to get close to your stats (a bit less speed, a bit more wit). You need like 10* or so stamina sparks to hit the stam with that.

I'm doing Oguri parent runs, and it's funny to me how I have 450 average across speed, stamina, and power after first summer, I get Gourmand to let me win Kikuka Sho reliably, but then she jobs on Mile Championship or when I toss in a Victoria Mile. They're shorter races! Even when I do the Front strat or not, every four careers she decides to end in 3rd for those shorter races.
