Looks like the aim of this build is to get Mjollnir in the GY using Dagda or fusing it off with Brilliant Fusion, then overlay two Seraphanites for Quinquery to summon it to their side which locks them out of summoning monsters on their turn.
Aside from that you just need to learn how the gem-knight cards interact with each other and the standard Fiendsmith combos which I'm sure there are countless youtube videos on.

i wish konami would just make a lower powered format like the legacy pack event permanent. losing to pretty much anything felt way less miserable than losing to top meta decks.

It was in like a third of the top 100 of the Duelist Cup thanks to Gem-Knight builds using it.
Fiendsmith is still very strong, it just doesn't synergize all that well with the current top decks. And honestly most people just move on to whatever everyone else tells them is the next big thing. It hasn't really been power crept so much as it was slightly overrated causing everyone to spam it more than it warranted, and everything new being slightly overrated making everyone drop everything old.

Mjollnir lock is just stupid even outside lock shenanigans stun. The main gimmick of Artifact archetype is they will special summon itself from GY if they get destroyed during your opponent turn, but only Mjollnir will lock you regardless if you special summon other artifact from GY with its effect or not. Hence using "and if you do" clause is better than "also", because you will not get locked without benefiting from Mjollnir whatsoever

That's unironically one of the worst thing about MD. They're going to release K9 first and then it is going to dominate until the ban hammer smashes them and then they will release Draco Tail. We basically never get a proper format with everything coming out all at once.

I need to understand something. Is building a complete deck that isnt the focus of the newest selection pack hard as a new player that has not pulled selection packs before? Of course there's structure decks but structure decks don't give you all the URs. In my case, I have the mitsurugi cards, but I also got a dragon ruler, and an ancient fairy dragon. So if I wanted to make dragon rulers, its gonna be hard with the secret packs, unless I craft, which isnt really worth it, since UR dust is a scarce commodity. Added to that, to play it optimally, you need other cards that arent in the secret pack to boost these rogue decks, like tenpai for dragon rulers, or fiendsmith comes up a lot to boost up these rogue decks. So is it safe to say that, as a new player, given all this you should just dismantle all the URs like (dragon rukers, dark magician girl, ancient fairy dragon, argostars) that arent the main sole focus of the selection pack (mitsurugi, orcust)? I feel like UR dust is the most important currency in this game, because with gems you need to pull things. But with dust you can just make anything.

Depends. Secret packs can be a lot better than selection packs, because you're often pulling for like 3 URs out of the 4 featured URs which with the 50% master pack nerf of secret packs is like 3/8 which is way better odds than the 3/13 you would get from a selection pack.
Making a deck that uses multiple archetypes is usually expensive because pretty much every archetype has some mandatory URs so a deck with two archetypes will often be like double the cost. But if you also play those archetypes pure then like if you built Fiendsmith Gem-Knights then you'd pretty much have a Fiendsmith Control deck, a FS Gem-Knight deck, and a pure Gem-Knight deck. Or at least you'd have them mostly finished.
If you can find decks you want to play that have overlap with other decks you want to play then that helps. Like if you have all the synchro staples then it'd be cheaper to build a new synchro deck that uses them than to build a link deck that needs a bunch of generic links.

UR points are the best currency but also they're somewhat fungible with gems. You should spend gems on packs that have a good chance to give you a UR you'll use since those are worth 3 copies of ones you will dismantle. Crafting to finish off a deck even if you could still pull that 3x UR from the selection pack that you never got a copy of will mean your gems can go to a pack that have better odds.
If you have zero interest in an archetype and it has no use in other decks then dismantle their cards, sure. But if you randomly pulled most of that deck, then maybe consider crafting the couple missing cards if it looks interesting since at that point it'd be cheap to finish.
Also SRs can be hard to come by at first but they become near worthless after you've played for a while, and you'll be able to craft a bunch of them on a whim. It's really just all about the URs.

Yes. Mill a bunch, stall, nuke the board a few times, generate a bunch of advantage over time, and annoy the opponent into surrendering. Rollback into shit like Karma Cannon or Elemental Burst is powerful, and they can set it up easily thanks to Marella and loop it thanks to Leanchoilia.
It had a relatively decent matchup into Snake Eyes since they had no good ways to deal with backrow and you could just nuke their links off the board and after a few turns they'd have nothing to summon with their material. I'd imagine it's far less good into a deck like Maliss or Mitsurugi or anything with Fiendsmith.

I started the game in March, did all solo mode and pulled for Exodia (which is garbage and i've never used). Built Maliss. Now I just pulled for all Mitsurugi pure cards (13k gem) and I'm back at 1k now.

You just need to not be retarded with building ALL decks, do your daily (the smart way) and events. There is a lot of deck I wanna build but the longer I play, the less problem I'll have when it come to resources.

I don't doubt a singel second I'll what I need for dracotail and K9. Only thing I fear is the sky striker alt art cards. I want a double Shizuku and double/triple Kagari. Wallet will be open for that.

Depends on your deck and hand. Some decks don't care about Fuwalos or care about either. Some can set up enough while giving very few draws. Sometimes you'll draw enough non-engine to shut down their turn without giving them draws. Sometimes you draw The Out. Some decks can take the challenge and deck them out.
Definitely not a situation most decks want to be in often though.

I had a leisurely stroll through plat last season with a standard Ninja deck, and the season before that with pure Vaalmonica. Plat has some meta decks, rarely piloted by good players though. You also run into a lot of people playing shit like Dark Magician, or Blue Eyes with all the bad structure deck cards. I didn't have a complete 100% winrate though.

Drytron Herald was a top deck on release and one of the most common. Zoodiac or LL Tribrig was better, but new players always gravitate towards whatever has the best endboard. And it was made far worse because quitting at the coin flip did not count as a loss so people quit at the coin WAY more because they could guarantee always going first meaning Drytron had a huge additional advantage.
Adamancipator was thankfully under the radar until a good bit later even though it was extremely strong too, and the excavate animation was way slower.
IDS was common but not actually good back then, people just refused to let go in the same way that you still run into people playing pure Kash.
