>BO3 matches and we're using a very basic leaderboard system, match wins and byes net you 2 points, match losses net you 1 point and no shows give you nothing

>The randomized matchups will be announced in the thread each Monday and the matchups can agree on the time and date of the duel during that week

With the Elvennote brews and how Hecahand Illusionsoup somehow clawed itself back into the running for the Phantom Revengers ROTK tops bowl, who could have guessed that not having locks or only the midpoint extenders having them and not necessarily the starters would natively do so much for a deck

The only ratios here I'm not fully sure of is about Senatus/Dux because maybe you need an extra copy of them. If you don't trust Whirlwind for going second then you can use the PSY Frames instead and then Synchro climb into Dis Pater or just more Mourner/Veiler.
If you really want to be a dick you can also do the good ole Buster Lock, but you might need to adjust your ratios carefully

One interesting thing I found out when reading about Duel Masters lore is how they have alternate universes, and in the main universe they had the Five Origin Dragons, in the alternate universe they had demons cause Dragon extinction and instead there were the Five Origin Demons and the main villain of the next block was from that universe.
I find it kinda interesting because demons used to make up 50% of TCG monsters along with dragons and even still they share a quarter with dragons, mechas, and waifus yet rarely will you find people acknowledging demons in TCGs

They don't want you to bridge into the other synchros, anon. That's the point of the lock. They're going to try and give the deck in engine pay offs rather than letting them toolbox.
Plus what does that even accomplish? You can make like, Visas Amitara? One of the accel synchros for an extraordinary amount of effort? Quick synchro into disruption is probably the best use but even then it's like, Sat Warrior and BRD as substantial pay offs.

Haven't played Hololive but by comparing the cards you can see that they're pretty much the same thing, but Pokemon is slightly more complex for most of the good cards like EXs, and has stuff like Weakness/Resistance, while Hololive might have Archetype markers like #EN #Promise #Singing in the bottom left corner.
I'm assuming that Hololives only "evolve" from the same name but a lower stage (so like 1st stage IRyS evolves from Debut IRyS) so they don't have to write that out, and I don't know how many energy types Hololive uses but I'm assuming the silver triangle is a type and the black and white circle is just generic/colorless energy.

The rules of Yugioh are absolutely complicated. There are too many nuances in terms of text that its hard to get a grasp on what cards actually do for a lot of people.
A lot of the issues I think is how much of the rules are obfuscated behind bulk learning. It's insanely hard to learn in-game since the game is so fast that not knowing what is going on means you lose, but cards also don't communicate what they do either.
Pokemon is a good example of a game that communicates its rules pretty clearly. Once you learn the core rules, anything additional is written onto the card. Pic related is one of the new cards from a new set and the bit saying

They need to pull the trigger and just start printing new cards with an overhauled frame. I'm not saying use the Rush frame either, but right now it looks bad. I still don't understand why Fenrir activates on a new chain after everything finishes and it returns to an open gamestate. If Caius is summoned and I target my opponent's set Trap Hole, I can't ask he waits until the next open gamestate to play the Trap Hole and banish it before he has the opportunity, but if I target my opponent's Kashtira Fenrir, I can. This seems to be the only monster with this effect.

Dual Typing has been a thing since DM, and it was T.G.'s distinct gimmick in the 5D's anime. Konami decided to remove all of those, and not allowing Dual Typing is one of those things that they've somehow been consistent with all this time for some reason, despite how many established card design rules they've broken throughout the years.
