She is just a boring character. Augusta was like that, all "coolness", but a little better, since she was planning to make herself the villain to give Rover the spotlight.
Galbrena is an even flatter character, no flaws, never looses, all goes according to her plan, characters act out of character and the plot bends over backwards so that the only way the story moves forwards and anything gets do is by her hand.
She is just the new writer OC, to the point she is the ONLY character that the plot explicitly mentions she will be appearing again. The writer couldn't help himself and HAD to make her give dark fleur the coup de gras at the end, it couldn't had been Rover, he had to shove her there. She also has every single character wank her, including Rover (when this had never happened before).

I haven't had issues with it, from just reading the skill page it sounds like the good version basically has a 22 second cooldown and if you try to do a heavy attack with full bar too early you would eat the bar for no reward. Rotating between your other characters after doing Carlottas rotation should cover the time without any problem.

When attacking, Sharty builds up stacks of Pressure. Pressure is also built up by gaining Gassy stacks. Gassy is gained at 40 pressure on attack as well. Gassy stacks are built up by casting Resonance Skill - Taco Bell. Upon casting Taco Bell, stacks of Pressure are turned into stacks of Gassy. Upon reaching 120 Gassy Pressure stacks you can cast Resonance Liberation - Fartsplosion. This causes all stacks of Pressure to disappear and deals damage based on how much Gassy was consumed in the process.
Other characters casting resonance abilities near Sharty builds up stacks of Secondhand Embarassment, which increases Pressure buildup but reduces Gassy buildup. When Secondhand Embarassment is at maximum stacks, Sharty releases a percentage of Gassy stacks and deals nearby aoe damage. This also empowers her next Resonance Skill - Taco Bell by 50%.
When nearby characters cast Resonance Liberation Sharty gains % crit based on how much Pressure she has built up, which lasts for as many seconds as she has Gassy stacks at the moment of triggering.
When Gassy and Pressure stacks reach 200 it triggers her Forte Circuit mode where all attacks release Pressure and Gassy, doing constant damage, also increasing the crit dmg of Sharty's next Resonance Liberation - Fartsplosion by the amount of of stacks lost.

Dante is a good and funny character though. In DMC3, every time he tries to look cool he fucks up. When he tries to eat the pizza in the middle of battle he gets stabbed. When he tries to play music the machine doesn't work. When he puts his coat in a fancy way he sneezes and destroys his shop. When he tries to look cool in front of Lady he gets shot in the forehead. He is goofy and you are meant to laugh at him and find him endearing. But by the end of the story he gets serious and has an emotional moment (to the point he doesn't speak at all during the ending). Galbrena has none of those things. Like, they added her eating an icecream on her animations, but it isn't shown or mentioned in the story at all. I don't think 2.7 was terrible enough to compare it to hoyo's shit. It was garbage, but it wasn't that bad. Instead, it just felt like there was no coordination with previous updates writers, and at least two updates worth of story, along with Galbrena's character quest, were all crammed into a single main quest. So it felt both rushed and overwritten as hell.

The cheat code for me was the first-time clear rewards. Do every tacet field and overworld boss around the map. They all give a bunch of xp the first time you clear them (don't need to spend waveplates or anything).
I'm guessing I don't need to tell you about the guidebook milestones or quests or anything, but the first-time clear rewards fly under the radar for people.

You are right, but only because most of the things that need to be resolved in the story aren't fixable by defeating an enemy, specially leviathan who is more of a mental being rather than a physical one.
The story should had pivoted like FFXIV does, in which the MC is strong as fuck but kinda dumb, and the rest of the PERMANENT party does the thinking. Rover being depicted as smart but needing the character of the week figure things out makes no sense.
What the story needs to depict is stuff like Lupa or Iuno's quests, in which Rover gives emotional support for characters to get over their issues, and be the muscle when fighting is needed. The problem with 2.7 is that Galbrena fills every role in the story, she is the smartest, figures everything out, is the strongest, and gets all the backstory and resolution. Those roles should had been spread between the cast.

Because Iuno got wiped out of literally everyones mind. It would be a perfect time to start fresh in a different place, or at least help with Rovers quest until shit is resolved and then go back to septimont. And doubly so since Leviathan got defeated, that was always her goal, there is no need for more prophesies or her special power to pin the dark tide anymore. But the shit writer didn't got the memo and her quest had no consequences.
Cartethyia literally says she wants to be a knight errant and to see new places. She is no longer tied to Rinascita and already said goodbye to the only people of her past (her parents).
Ciaccona as you say is a traveling bard, why not travel with us, that would give her most excellent inspiration for her songs. The game suffers a lot from not having a fixed small cast to distribute roles and play off Rover (who more or less doesn't even have a personality, despite being an established character and not a self insert).
