I mostly wanted to see how stealth would change certain dialogues and outcomes. I was having fun at first stealthing gigs and NCPD dispatches since I found you can find alternate routes by doing parkour most of the time. I'll likely stick with it, the bugs are kinda just upsetting is all.

trouble with the knives is that if you miss people hear it, if you destroy a camera with it people will hear, if you fail to 1 shot an enemy everyone will know. Sonic Shock is a must as well as Gag Order from Cool.

It depends on your card a 40+ series should be able to handle it at 1080p or 2k 60fps. If you mean visually, it can add a lot to environments and effects by properly simulating light. If you mean for pictures, I don't think it's worth it most of the time, unless you are in extremely well lit area with the proper colors and tones that can take advantage of it. You can experiment a bit as see what I mean.

Oh yeah, level design allows for lots of verticality and routes if you get creative. But for stealth, if you don't commit and 100% build around it then it becomes a chore. Tipsy was probably the only one how actually made stealth look viable.

Taking a little break from playing my Saka, I made a Mox to try the option to jump directly to Phantom Liberty.
I went with a more aggressively "borged" design. I just wish it was possible to also apply heavy cosmetic cyberware to the body.

Man I love smug corpo dialog options. I know V definitely has to be a gonk for the plot to work, but it's so satisfying whenever V reminds the rats that they're just another small fish in a big pond.

I was pleasantly surprised that he had his own bag of tricks. Optical camo, health regen, and backflips to deflect Nehan throws really made the fight fun and not feel one-sided. Plus his really fast attack speed and Sandevistan/Kerenzikov movement really made it feel like a fight straight out of a movie.

I'm curious about what decisions those polish devs will take concerning Orion and the event of 2077. Even if they decide to not mention V's fate (and I think they should not), what about Songbird?
They seem to want to establish some kind of overarching plot with mister blue eyes, the cyberspace, the Blackwall and all that shit. And Songbird clearly seems to be a key element in all of this

Oh, yeah I've been using it on this playthrough. The improvements from when it first came out make it feel way less tedious to use. It also seems like a lot of clothing modders are adding compatibility with it too. That Saka academy shirt I use is counted as Arasaka-affiliated, for instance. That Tino disguise on Red looks really good.

I started maxing out reaction, but ARs and SMGs feel underwhelming desu. I've go a revolver and it simply obliterates everyone with headshots, and also a sniper rifle which almost 1 hit kill dudes. So "cool" is the actual most useful stat in the end of the day because it's related to those weapons?

Unless you use some mod to rebalance weapon damage, ARs will always be shit. SMGs shiny only by virtue of proccing status effects very fast. But yeah, snipers and pistols are king same with blades. If you want a fast shooting gun, just get a M-10AF Lexington, if you want raw stopping power, just use a Unity, etc, etc. Do consider tech weapons too.

It's a little more in the weeds, but I effectively move towards and away from him in circles only using strong punches. This made sure that he was always stuck doing a defensive animation, and after enough strong punches land his guard breaks and I could do some real damage. Ha, no, that was just for more immersive boxing. My build REALLY wasn't optimized for the Smasher fight and the save had me starting off with half health, so I got zeroed repeatedly. 20 Cool/Int/Reflex, 7 Body, 5 Tech.

Thought I'd be fine at level 51 since the cap used to be 50 and I had all Legendary cyberware with Tier 5++ weapons, but low body meant I would eat a shit ton of damage from everything he did. I'd Overclock Detonate Grenade to knock him straight to 50% health, then would be airjumping around constantly to dodge his bullshit. Took forever whittling him down with Contagion, Nehan throws, opportune Satori strong attacks, grenades, and Dying Night potshots.

Also he glitched out and was immobile after wave dashing atound, which I had seen once on an earlier attempt. This time I managed to seal the deal.

Way more frustrating than meat boxing Rhino/Razor because that was won through getting better with game mechanics. Smasher was more like needing to play perfectly with any slipup being a high chance of death.

Yeah, the thing is he not only has a shit ton of health, he also has a lot of armor and neither nehan nor satori can effectively go through his armor until you break it, so you do a lot less damage. I assume contagion kept him from regenerating and slowed him down a bit while your peppered his ass. Oh, yeah some bosses seem to break like that if you skip a trigger, like getting grabbed by sasquatch for example, that happened to be a bunch of times.
He does have a lot of very nasty attacks so props for defeating him with a unoptimized build. I'm wondering how bad he is going to be with Katana and throwing knife only.

Thanks chooms! First time beating Cyberpunk despite having preordered it; really glad they changed weapon/crafting mechanics so Dying Night and Satori could be relevant for the entire game. Figured my V already cheated death by Arasaka twice (Corpo lifepath would definitely get zeroed if Jackie wasn't there, and The Heist going tits up), so she wouldn't want anyone else going down with her if it all went tits up. I like to imagine she spent her last few months meaningfully with friends, until she got too busy and had to dedicate her time to prepping the Crystal Palace job.

Ha, looks like you're finding plenty to do! Makes sense with Borg; she may even need more sleep than others with all the chrome her brain is working. I was set to have the messy bob be The One for this playthrough, but it doesn't have a shadow which, while not a huge deal, isn't as nice to see, like you said. Wonder why the modder didn't just slap Mama Welles's hair shadow onto it. I'm sure the hair will get back to the previous one.
