Recon is ironically the best support class. Almost everything you do benefits the team more than you. Sniper is literally credit to team in this game.

Anyone else not having a majority of enemy shots register on your screen, frame wise. I keep dying to 1-2 hits, then the after death tells me I got hit like 4-5 times. No headshots. Good ping, good FPS.

Is this just battlefield being bad as usual? I know in the past it was recommended to always use as high of a rate of fire as possible to help counteract this.

I'll tell you a secret about BF games. 90% of the people don't give a shit about the objective. They have one goal. Spawn, kill someone. Respawn, do it again. Teamwork (repairing, reviving, healing, etc) is a secondary thought. The overall objective? That's a tertiary thought. This is always the major reason they did away with the player hosted server setup you saw in previous games. Because if you could get ~7 people at a minimum to work together and organize, you could wipe the entire team. So people would organize, stack one team, and then just absolutely dominate. Players would complain because they were getting stomped on. I play HLL and you see this complaint all the time. Many clan servers on HLL put in rules that stipulate how many clan members can be on one side vs the other because it kills their server so fast is there's more than 1:0 clan squad ratio.

The secret to playing BF is to not care. About anything. Don't look at your k/d. Don't look at the scoreboard or if you're winning. None of that matters. There's so much BS happening in this game that trying to care will only end with you getting pissed.

Yeah BFV had it under a setting called "loadout mirroring" which you turned off if you wanted faction specific weapons. Another lost technology along with the 4 part soldier customization.

My biggest complaint about the BETA was the maps, and it looks like there is only 3 more maps in addition to the ones in the BETA.

Eh right now spotting as a player is not consistent. I can't tell if its a bug or feature (as is the way with DICE), but sometimes I'll aim right at someone and press Q and it wont spot. I rarely have random players spotting. This is probably the first BF in awhile where people are getting spotted constantly. Im sure that will change over time but yeah here we are.

Funny thing is that the mines are exactly the same as previous battlefields. The main difference is that the maps are so much more confined that tanks have less room to move around, making them a lot better. Supposedly there's anti mine upgrades? Honestly I have no idea. But the autistic mine can be super OP as it doesn't need to be on the road. You can place it next to the road, in a bush, behind a wall, etc. Game is going to be so stupid once a bunch of people start using it.
