It's unreal how fucking boring and awful Skyrim's dungeon and location designs are. It's basically the same shit as Oblivion only even more boring and linear. There's basically no variety and everything is a straight line. It is interesting to compare it to Fallout 4 which is full of cool dungeons and locations. Most locations have full vertical gameplay and several ways to progress, even a random raider camp has several vantage points that can be used by you or enemies. Not to mention that even vanilla AI and enemy variety are pretty good let alone modded one

The main appeal of these games is mods. The difference between Skyrim and Fallout is that Skyrim mostly gets coomer mods while Fallout has more mods designed for actual gameplay. So yes, you're right that Skyrim only draw is porn mods, it has nothing else good to offer. Meanwhile Fallout still gets millions of views on YouTube for settlement building and challenge runs because these are actually fun games.

SSD anon from last thread. Using the 500gb, 3400 mod N.Y.A modlist as a benchmark, it takes 3 minutes, 40 seconds to go from clicking the EXE to spawning in game on a WD Black 8100. What drive are you using and what load times do you guys have?

Does anyone know if the highly awaited modding project, "Skyrim: Extended Cut", has been cancelled/turned into vaporware?

I've been really looking forward to it for years, as it's one of the few meaningful mods that would have changed the game, unlike the usual NPC makeover mods.
But, there's been no communication for months from the team, and it's looking grim.

Want to overhaul the audio and visuals, really like how dream 90s looks. You can't go wrong with mods that add encounters and quests so I downloaded a bunch of those as well plus, I'm spoiled from the past 25 years of video games so I don't mind variou fixes and QoL features like being able to hit multiple enemies if I have a two handed weapon.

It’s a dxvk pipeline error caused by ENB due to running in WINE. I’m not at my PC but you need to create a dxvk.conf in sse directory that has a line something like dxvkcreategraphicspipeline=false, check github issues or google it.
