Hellagur dodge-dps's them to death and regens from talent, Zuo Le stuns the shit out of them and uses %max hp barrier pseudo-hp, Krob either block 0's on s1 to pass them or shield tanks abilities then def walls, Utage either block 0's to pass them or she's usually helidrop and retreating. Chad Noir you kinda just don't. s1 you can execute trash mobs but it's annoying cause you have to get hp numbers right and you need to use AoE if you want to cause a kill chain, s2 you iframe dodge kill abilities.

In general sometimes they can manage the off-lane's low pressure or just work as an offensive alternate to a healing defender if deployment order can cover it. Generally arts fucks with them pretty hard.
In IS3 you can get the musha hand then use Bassline or other stops attacking aiblities to farm broodlings from broodmothers to super roid them

I didn't have anyone for stuns, but my ranged game was still pretty good and I switched Amiya to her true damge before I started this. Coupled with Gladiia, Exu and Narantuya the damage output was very good and Mon3tr kept everyone topped off. This got me like 8 levels all at once.

Once again, boss can be stunned/froze/slept/etc. Eunectes and mumu s3 can long stun it for 15-18s, use dice, then eunectes can stun it again shortly after. lots of overlapping stun/freeze can heavily reduce the amount of attacks she gets off.
Because of the slow, Mr Nothing off speed stance and no speed relics can permastun highmore in phase 2. If you want to stun phase 1 or got some speed you can keep toggling his s2 to artificially slow his attack speed enough to stun anyway. Makes the stage pretty free

You use them as a currency for most events, rerolling a rejection off when you enter a new floor, rerolling a failed wish fulfilled outcome, rerolling shops, rolling to open a chest (don't unless you have one side upgrade and feel lucky or have two side upgrades). Sides can be upgraded by playice resourceful (dice) squad or the duck lord's golden brick relic to 8 or 12 sides to greatly increase your odds


When used in battle it slows the enemy's attack speed, movement speed for 15 seconds, and at 7+ outcomes it reduces redeployment time by -50% to -100% as you roll better. If you're using resourceful squad you can keep rolling as many dice as you have which lets you overlap speed slows to greatly cripple enemies. I don't remember if it's a stage effect or specifically inflicted debuff so you can't pre-game it for ending 3's transformation true damage rape. But since it's not an attack it's really good for stuff like The Last Knight's phase 2 charge in ending 2 if you don't have mostima, etc since you can just spend 5, 6, 7+ dice slowing the fat fuck until he dies.

If you're just doing the default ending then the highmore boss fight is the end of your run so you don't need to save dice anymore. You can use it for -20, -30, or -40 attack speed to reduce how badly they're shoving your op's shit in.
In some regular stages you might use it to slow enemy movement or attack speed in order to avoid leaking and losing light but for the most part you want to strive to eventually not fuck up the stage and need to roll at all so a lot of people forget then die with an unused dice in their hand.

The metaprogression upgrades give you a couple to start with, sometimes you get them as loot, sometimes relics give you some, some encounters give some. Resourceful (dice) squad give 2 on each floor when fully upgraded.
So yeah you have the right idea generally it's a resource you want to conserve since you use 1 to juke a bad rejection roll and often use it to get favorable outcomes in encounters. If you have the golden brick and/or dice squad the 5+ save a key and open a chest goes from a 1/3rd chance to a 1/2 or 2/3rd chance.
Now that you've cursed your testicles and will be offered encounters for the 2nd ending you can roll to get the last knight's relic for +1 squad limit at the cost of needing to kill the annoying little shit by the end of the 4th floor so you don't actually get sent to the 2nd ending fight.
If you want to 100% the relic dex you need to reroll shops at a 7+ for a microscopic chance to be offered pathfinder's fins and I think you want to have at least 16 ingots but I forget the max cost it could be

It's unrelated but in general keep your eyes open for the medic's will encounter. The book it gives lets you start the battle in the Heart of a Fool encounter for the relic unlock. You can leak the same amount as you have shield and it'll still be okay. The map has 3 spear knights and one bloodboil with of course nearly all the ranged tiles in range of the spear knights. Patrol soldiers will spawn and chase after civilians on the edge of the map. After a while the spear knights will move out and the roided up bloodboil will move out. The patrol soldiers can be killed pretty easily you just gotta remember to do it.
Once you finally get that relic unlocks so you can stop pulling your hair out you can take the grass instead of the book and get heart of a fool again to get the cathedral painting for the relic dex.

The upgrade that lets you reroll a Rejection once is a must to have. After that, go down the main middle down path to unlock new nodes, then look for extra dice/keys, bigger squad size and deploy limit, and finally if you want the best stuff, the upgrades for Mind Over Matter, People Squad and Resourceful Squad in that order.

Top left upgrades will eventually let you get shields for perfect clears when above >=8 HP
Transactional Behavior will let you trade relics so you can either give shit ones away or cursed ones that give debuffs. Node below that unlocks scout nodes where you can send someone away for the duration of the floor and they'll come back next floor upgraded for free
I'd probably focus on going left to the Introspection since it lets you reroll if you get a shit result and then go below Curiosity and get the buffs that increase EXP gain so you can level up and get hope faster

Yeah go south for the squad/deploy limit upgrades or go southwest for the MoM squad survivor contract upgrade if you're going to MoMcope. In 2022+3 it's probably better to just go get survivor contract so you don't want to kill yourself as a poorfag with a full IS3 to do.
If you want, when you go south you can dip the right side for the nearby +1 key upgrade. Just keep in mind it's there if you get pissed off at the key shortage.
then go back to start and go to top left for the +1 shield on perfect clear when you have 9 life that lets you snowball
Then dip southwest for the rejection reroll
If you're PoS squad coping get the promotion hope upgrade
If you're MoMcoping and didn't get survivor's contract despite playing this long I dunno what to say man stop hurting yourself and get it
If you're gambling with resourceful squad you get more die and a side upgrade

Decide when you want to chase the living cell upgrades. the first one's close, second is on the way to squad/deploy and third is off in the weeds NE but nearby when you grab the starting key upgrade
Also a bonus starting die behind the starting key upgrade on the east and behind the rejection reroll in SW if you are short dice a lot
