You build a team with 3 characters, 3 main discs, and 3 backup discs. 1 character is on the field all the time, the other 2 are used for their skills. Characters have different variations of their skills depending if they're the onfield character or support. (Characters are split into on field/flexible/support to give you an idea on how to slot them in) The characters want to be the same element to get stats from the discs and to proc elemental reactions. (usually the 2 support characters apply marks on mobs then the main character detonates them) The main discs give buffs, but you have to activate some of them by getting the correct number of buffs from the roguelike mode (i.e. to get the 40% normal attack damage from the weapon you need to get 2 attack buffs and 1 crit rate buff). The backup discs give you a starting amount of buffs so its easier for you to enable all of your main discs (i.e. choosing this disc will start your run off with 2 atk speed buffs and 1 hp buff)
