Sure. Let's start from the start, shall we? Kris seals the fountain in chapter 3 on his own, making my presence completely unnecessary. In short, I may as well not have a character anymore.
And of course, there's the whole sequence in Noelle's house that expects me to still play as Kris as if none of it happened. The game has literally been softlocked, with the macguffins impossible to collect, and I'm literally the only one who's pointed it out, and the disastrous consequences this can have in the future. I have no character, Kris stole that from me, right here.
Then there's the whole deal with the final prophecy that my character did not get to see, but the game pretends it did. And the game has the audacity to ask what I think about it.

To be honest, DR fills that gap perfectly for me. The meta stuff is not as in-your-face as in UT and can be written off as "the powers that be" fucking with the world. Deltarune falls perfectly into the subgenre of "cute critters being tossed around by cosmic forces and learning to overcome suffering through hope and friendship" that I really love.

I need to draw like I need to eat, if I don't draw I get antsy and have a hard time stopping myself from doodling on things. I first began writing as a form of entertainment when I was a really poor child. We're talking sleeping on a tile floor with a bundle of blankets instead of a bed and my only electronic entertainment was an old CRT TV hooked up to public television and my grandfather's gameboy. I always liked telling stories so I just started writing some of them down. Escapism in a way.

Why I specifically write Tobyverse fanfiction is because I'm in love with the characters, worldbuilding, and a few concepts that Tony Tobert has made, but want to do my own thing with them that I don't believe Todd Tony would ever do himself, as well as put to paper all the "what ifs?" that constantly echoed throughout my mind when I played Undertale and Deltarune.

"Artist" is perhaps generous, but I started trying to draw again because of Deltarune. Partially it's because I really love the characters as they are, and partially because they are versatile enough to imagine them in a lot of different scenarios. Hopefully I'll get good enough to actually get those ideas out.
I keep on creating because I've just always wanted to do something creative long-term and not stop when it gets too boring for too long.

Think it started when I was in school (elementary/middle) and had to write stories for class or end of year exams, and I really enjoyed it. Random writing ideas are constant and I can work through them in my head very quickly.
I only started writing actual stories (fanfic) a month or two after chapters 3-4 came out, but I did write greens before that and enjoyed it a lot.
Writing is just really fun. It’s far more fulfilling and enjoyable than programming ever was.

I think chapter 2 sucks in comparison to the other chapters, it only have Spamton going for it bht apart from that, chapter 1 inteoduces the characters, chapter 3 has an actual villain that feels like an actual undertale character and not a parody of one (looking at queen), and chapter 4 is genuinely great due to the story, chapter 2 is easily the weakest thing Toby have made

Chapter 3 egg dialog is the closest Deltarune gets to being OFF levels of nonsense but ch4 egg dialog reassures me that there is a tangible point to them
