Had a dream that Havoc had an entire rework done to it that caused it to have the highest skill ceiling the game had ever seen. It had many buttons and you had to know which order to press them in and the more you pressed correctly, the higher and higher the haste went but if you pressed wrong the GCD would reset to pre-buff version and pressing wrong multiple times in a row would add two seconds to the GCD each time. I havent been playing much of my warlock in pvp lately, pretty much exactly because of what you describe. It can be a bitch to play but when you make it work its fantastic, statistically warlocks have a steeper learning curve to climb in rating. This is mostly because as you experienced, you will be utterly useless against some lobbies until you learn how to deal with it better, and everyone blinks, zooms and jumps around like a giant clownshow while you have a teleport circle that has to be placed beforehand thats not even on a short cd or anything.
If you like the class, keep at it. A good warlock is a fucking menace to society with absurd damage and cc potential but fuck if I know how to do it.

Blizzard literally should just stop pretending they have lore and just give us art designs.
Haranir are pretty cool imho but the fact they're tied to a convoluted bullshit lore justification makes them so hard to digest.
