Ffn2 not launching is not that relevant in d8. You don't play back dash into keep out jab anymore like in previous tekkens, you either just stand still or you mash something big like a launcher or a string. The only time you really mash jab is when you use all those g clefs when you want to challenge plus frames and ffn2 is not good for those scenarios due to input. Ffn2 having an auto mix into stance on hit is much better for a game like this. It would be good to have a counterhitting ffn2 if this game still had release version heat bursts but now it's irrelevant.
