When I run them both, I use blitzer for single chaff enemies or one enemy that I just want to get rid of quickly. Its still pretty good, but Arc thrower will beat it out if you want damage and stuns.

Arc Thrower and Hover pack is legitimately a good combo.
The angle lets you shoot over whatever would normally block the arc, and your aim isnt as effected by movement due to the way arc works so you can stay mobile while killing.

A reminder he randomly threw in a squid invasion because he didnt check the map and realized we would get another siege so the enemy was able to magically stage an invasion while also being unable to defend itself due to lack of reinforcements. And he didnt nerf either resistances on either planet to reflect this situation.

I'm convinced Hellmire on difficulty 8 isn't doable with randoms. Even if I meta the fuck out of my loadout the game is just relentless with it's enemy spawns and stagger/ragdolling and I can't trust anyone to have any corner covered cause they're all busy getting staggered/ragdolled to death.

HMG is about the worst support weapon you could bring to bugs because it fares poorly against large chaff groups. As in, the only ways you could do worse are with the AMR, Railgun, Wasp, or joke weapons like One True Flag and Break Action Shotgun.

MG-43 is a strong all-rounder that can deal with almost everything you'd ever want to kill while also having very high ammo capacity. Grenade Launcher is much the same but exchanges ammo capacity with crowd clearing and spawner destruction. Quasar gives you an AT weapon that doesn't require stationary reload and also has infinite ammo that's nice for plinking Shrieker Nests and Spore Spewers. And so on and so forth.

There seems to be enough evidence to suggest that the load crashing is directly linked to the SSD damage caused by the Windows 11 update and the damage prevents loading large files properly which would explain why Helldivers 2 struggles here. I haven't seen enough reports of bricked PCs unable to POST though, so it could be related, but that might just be confirmation bias while Helldivers 2 is in a poorly optimized state at the moment. Just as well, kernel-level anticheat could also be fucking with hardware for all I know, so I wouldn't write off the possibility entirely.

It does do something - it prevents zero-effort cheating, which alone filters like 90% of would-be cheaters. You have to either buy an anti-cheat bypass or get into some sekrit club. The result is that the overwhelming majority of average matches are cheater-free, but if you REALLY want to hack that SC in, you are free to do so, given a bit of prior knowledge. I guarantee this is because people don't update their PCs correctly when they follow a shitty youtube guide for updating your boot sector from MBR to GPT. For the uninformed with more modern PCs, for Secure Boot to be enabled, you have to be able to use UEFI. If you're using an old install of windows from maybe, 5+ years ago with an older motherboard, you might have your boot sector formatted the old style; Master Boot Record (MBR). This is not compatible with UEFI. So, you can run a utility to update your boot sector to GUID Partition Table (GPT).

However you can fuck this up in a number of ways, especially if you don't do your research and just blindly follow a guide. You can end up in a situation where your motherboard doesn't recognize your boot sector because it's set up in a legacy mode. The utility can use a different drive entirely to make the new boot sector because it gets confused, because they didn't unplug their other drives prior to conversion (command line programs are often very stupid and do EXACTLY what they're meant to do with zero safeguards).

So yeah. I doubt very much that SecureBoot bricked anyones machine. The process to GET SecureBoot enabled probably "bricked" some machines because PEBKAC.
