I think most of the characters in deadlock being underwhelming is from what they lack, rather than their current 'personalities' being annoying. Comparing them to the TF2 characters is unfair; the TF cast wasn't limited by needing interpersonal, deep philosophical interactions. That's literally it, that's why I think people take issue with the "Rosie the riveter dyke girl boss" aesthetic

First, look at a TF2 interaction

Some games can actually be close and it’s fun, but what’s tilting is that there will be flat win or loss in MMR with the outcome. In every ranked game, this will always boost shitters and frustrate people who consistently perform well. This is only amplified with intangible macro skills in deadlock and other nonplayer input like autodraft

Most Kelvins don't even put ANY points into it before their other 3 skills are maxed out. NTA but I'm guessing you're at a low rank you're unsatisfied with, and no offense you don't understand DotA macro (which has only been dialed up in Deadlock, despite the shooter mechanics/gameplay)

Saying "my team mate went 2/12" is not enough information. Was your 2/12 teammate pushing? If so:

He was likely the lowest networth player on your team; that means if he drags at least one enemy hero to his lane, the discrepancy between your team's networth and the enemy networth is negated numerically. If your feeding teammate drags 2 enemy heroes, that's actually comeback gameplay. If he avoids dying, and snags some creep camps on the way out, you're likely to turn the game around. Even if the feeder dies splitpushing, his death doesn't provide that much gold to the enemy team because he's so low networth. Not only that, deadlock leaned ~HARDER~ into DotA splitpush mechanics, where lane troopers/creeps give reliable gold (secured souls), so splitpushing will safely grant him lots of levels/items. Juxtapose that to unreliable gold/unsecured souls being droppable so the enemy team can grab them, which makes jungling a lot easier to punish.

DotA doesn't use kda ratio in mmr, because there is game-winning feed behavior, and game losing afk junglers who technically have a good kda ratio before the enemy team thrones you with aegis/rejuv

6.) Debuff remover upgrade that removes all debuffs(Even ultimate) and prevents debuffs from being applied for a time.

Gun Ivy is basically the only effective way to build her in most high rank play thanks to Capacitor being super strong right now.
Another way that has been seeing increasing use and that I have seen good results from is a hybrid debuff-based build, but it does depend on your teams ability to capitalize on the opportunities you make.

pretty much, rivals support ults were basically "press Q and nobody plays the game for 10-15 seconds, unless you have a one-shot ult" (and this is from someone who usually mains support in hero shooters). i pretty much only played mantis/adam/ultron and since those are the only healers (from when i played at least) without sustain out the ass they were always called troll picks which should really be an indicator of how fucked support balance is there
on the tangent of hero shooter supports, i really think launch OW1 should be the baseline for how much healing a healer should have (and more of a focus on utility like speed/discord). keep in mind there was a time when MERCY had the highest HP/s healing, and i'm fairly sure every support added since has had as much or more healing except maybe the newest guy

I just wish there were more ways to quickly end the game, and sub 20 minute quick finishes were common when there's a team disparity. A lot of Mina's damage comes from the amount of ult stacks she gets from love bites and proccing love bites in general.
While the silence and air jump can be useful, you're damage will be much less than hers even with a lot of spirit.
Can still be an already steal though.

Why is it whenever I play fun heroes I get absolutely brainless teammates? Like their macro is so bad I don't even get a chance to fight because I find myself always in a sidelane while they just brawl and feed mid. It's the other way around, the damage is so high that any healing that can allow you to stay in the fight for just a moment longer is insanely valuable. Because you are not seeing an instant ping pong from 0 to full you are ignoring how shit like kelvin nades or dynamo 3 or viscous cube is allowing you and your team to stay in fights for longer and use their cooldown-based leech items or skills more during it. Same goes for stuff that is technically not healing like divine barrier or paige's 2 which can be fucking absurd and bring some heroes from barely killable to literally unkillable in some situations
I still feel like healing nova could use a bit of a boost but with how easy it can be to kite and fuck off on some heroes (especially with items like veil walker/majestic leap) i feel like the last thing this game needs is a Mercy. It's just not fun at all to have a hero's job be to erase your progress especially here where you're often fighting for incremental gains. Plus we already have a problem with snowballs and fed people feeling unkillable

People complain about veterancy syndrome for a lot of multiplayer games but Deadlock may very well have a serious case of it on release if it delays for too long. desu the way they're handling the alpha is just bad and doesn't really make sense.
