I used the same team on the Niggador side.
Aventurine has huge synergy in the team comp since Tribbie and Herta's FUAs build stacks for him to also FUA more, and ALL party sources of damage feed in to Herta and Tribbie's ult charges.
In turn, Tribbie's ult and everyone's ults make Tribbie FUA more.
Which feeds Aventurine's FUAs.
Etc etc etc.
Constant boss AOEs that aren't huge damage are also the ideal fights for Aventurine to solo sustain for.
There is genuinely no better sustain for that team, except Hyacine just being OP in general but even then the sigga is making the Herta-Tribbie feedback loop go faster.

Big differences of note are that Aventurine's shield gets refreshed on enemy turns. Chains of enemy turns can get through even him, they are definitely killing people under Dan3's watch.
Additionally, Aventurine's shield is larger since it's a higher % of Def and Def itself is easier to stack higher.
Also as noted, stacking Def provides synergy with Aventurine pulling aggro. While a Def-less HP-less Dan3 is gonna get his shit pushed in.

The issue with stacking Aventurine's shields is that it requires SP to stack even remotely to the max. With his FuA refresh it's not even remotely enough to achieve high amounts, unlike with Dante's system of refreshing shields.
It's also terrible that the shields can easily expire with someone like Herta when taking multiple turns in a row. And at that point, any hits Herta takes will not trigger towards Aventurine's FuA counter, so you again need to use SP to bring the shield back online.

I've owned both since their release, I'm aware of the potential for a lapse. Heck, I've used both together in more content than you can think of.
THAT SAID, prior to Hyacine buffing HP and triggering on enemy turns, it is not like Herta had better ways to survive enemies.
