Non-schizo answer: Molten Core is not easy. You should run some level 60 dungeons to get level 60 gear, but getting the dungeon 0.5 set is usually an unnecessary grind.
The gear check is very different depending on whether you’re a mercenary or running with your guild. If you’re a guildless mercenary, they’ll be much more strict on the gear check

The admins and devs of Epsi are pretty hardline on it not being an ERP server, to the point where all public phases / zones will auto-kick you to an in-game jail if you even have the word 'lewd' in your TRP.

I would be a hypocrite if I didn't acknowledge the fact that there are a lot of ERPers and shitty progressive types in Epsilon, but I promise that there's more to it than that. Many of the public zones people build are actually really impressive, even if it's wasted on some pretty braindead RPers who think that sitting in a cafe and talking about your feelings is the epitome of RP.

It does. The fog really helps make you wonder what lies beyond it. That's not to say that WoW isn't massive but it really helps to add tension and weight to the tiny subzones like a mine you could stumble onto or some random tiny camp of enemies that you couldn't see until you started getting a little bit close to. It makes each of those tiny areas all the most impactful to stumble onto or walk into.

You don't have to do that pvpshit if you don't want to, but sadly it is the best way to gear up. My ilvl's currently at 651 without doing any pvp, but you will probably have to do enough garrison work to unlock the shipyard so you can get access to the apexis gear vendor in tanaan
if you want to play pve, check out tanaan's rares and in particular the treasures. You can grab a few easy pieces no matter your class, including usually a weapon

The shipyard is particularly important if you're gonna go pve because you have to build it to unlock your faction's town in tanaan. That'll give you access to vendors who'll trade 5k apexis for baleful tokens which (just like the ones from shipyard) can roll between 650 - 685 ilvl. They also sell an upgrade token which can pump a baleful item up to 695 ilvl, for 20k apexis. Those upgrade tokens can actually also be found out of random heroic caches too, I got one earlier and slapped it on my hat.
Tanaan rares have a chance to drop baleful tokens as well, and each one also has a chance to drop a specific piece of gear (i.e. the bitch in the fel forge can drop plate bracers). Kill them if you see them, but their spawn timer is long so don't count on them being there.
If you're doing a profession that can produce gear for your class, you'll be able to make 630 items which can then be further upgraded up to 695 through more profession work, but I think that might be kind of expensive.
Lastly, keep an eye out for groups doing SENOR SUPREMO KAZZAK, he drops ilvl 720 gear. Rukhmar also drops 665 gear, but don't count on getting her because filthy fucking huntoids are prone to griefing the fuck out of raids by taming her, which causes her to despawn mid-fight lmao

Yeah, Supreme Lord Kazzak. He spawns up the north end of tanaan, in the elite area. He's not too hard but you'll obviously need like 20 - 30 people
You can get 3 bonus roll tokens from the weekly hub in Ashran (Seal of Inevitable Fate) to use on him, and even if you've already killed him that week, you can still use any tokens you have left if you kill him again - sometimes people will organize another group just to kill him again when he respawns, which is handy to take advantage of

there is one called cursed scope or something that gives a mission to get an heirloom ring (not the fishing content one) just by unlocking it but it never popped for me on naval mission table

fresh turtle basically made me realize how garbage the WoW community is as a whole and how garbage fresh vanilla is.
Only redeeming part of WoW left is arena on retail maybe it will be a lot more fun when addons are kill next year.

Modern WoW RPers (Turtle, Epsilon, retail) have very bad attitudes compared to other MMO communities I've tried

Just mobtag elite mobs in the world, the dungeon xp is severely nerfed, if youre grouped with a 60.
What you can do in a dungeon is:
60 pulls mobs together (pull, not tag) -> mage tags them -> kick 60 from the group -> kill mobs before the 60s are up -> reinvite.
I cant see a warrior with your gear doing that effectively even with the disc, your pulls would have to be so small you might aswell not bother.

Yes, these both mean they ERP.
Complimenting someone’s TRP also typically means you want to ERP with them though. It’s a very common pick-up line. Not always but in general if someone says “I like your profile” or “your profile is interesting” they mean “I think your character is hot and want to ERP.” So you were basically coming onto them inadvertently. Kind of funny.
