2hu 10, 11 and 12 have infinite continues but you restart the stage every time. This system was dumb and gay and I'm glad ZUN ditched it.
2hu15 Point Device mode has checkpoints but it's a meme game with ballbusting spells designed around having checkpoints.
Photogames are a collection of standalone bite-sized stages so long-term resource management and planning are irrelevant there.
But the standard 2hu gaming experience is beating the main story on one credit a feeling like a GOD as you're watching good ending's silly slide show.

Took me a while but I finally managed to L7 lost branch with sakuya, knife spamming is pure fun though it took me a while to get the right exhibits and cards to synergize with her deck but luck was in my favour, and even so I still had to restart 7 times to make it work because I would have died otherwise, maybe someone smarter than me could have done it with 0 restarts.

From what I remember, you can't hold the photo for any length of time whatsoever so make sure to mash the shoot button as opposed to holding it to get a quick snap. Hold focus to make your pointer go as far out towards her as possible. Swap to portrait photo mode too for extra chance at actually reaching her. As for the dodging, try and stay directly below her and do small dodges left and right as she comes closer. Its a bit like shivering star from lolk in that sense. You need to get pretty close for the later shots from what I remember.

is there any strat for KOing Yuuka here? marisa's maxed out (as much as she can be), master spark has 4400 attack, but even with scan + marisa's unique i'm not close to dealing 10k damage in one hit.

it took me years to get around to reading anything more than Silent Sinner in Blue. Forbidden Scrollery has been my favorite so far. I may even buy a physical copy of it someday. I enjoyed Wild and Horned Hermit and Lotus Eaters a lot, too. Inaba of the Moon and Inaba of the Earth was fun. Detective Satori.. I liked it ok but it made me impatient for some reason

Go to Akiba Hobby, as far as I know it's the only touhou centric shop around in Tokyo (though small gacha corners have made their appearances in recent years.)
It has a lot of doujin albums, all the games/offical OST jewel cases, some of the official prints (last time I was there they didn't have GoU). They also have some sukusuku and stuff too.
For a secondary like you, they often carry fumos too.

speaking of, if you do end up going there and checking out the albums, mind keeping an eye out for either of those? Didn't know about them last time I was in Tokyo, could be neat to own.

I tried playing Touhou 1 earlier, was not expecting a breakout clone. I'm finding it difficult as the controls are weird and I can't do any of the special attacks even tho I'm following what the manual says
I tried touhou 2 and I'm enjoying that a lot more
so I might just skip Touhou 1
did read the story of it online tho, not much there, think its just the manual anyway.

I really don't like bullet hell but I hope I can enjoy the games despite mainly wanting to experience the story of Touhou.

I've been trying the Ubame supergraze method but even with the right stone setup, I can't get a consistent stream of repeated incident attacks on the midboss non and first two nons.
First spell card graze is easy, I just park the hitbox on her head, take the grazes and do a loop around. I can still only get about 30 incident value on a good attempt.
I think the non graze comes down to proper placement of the hitbox. I see the best scoreruns put it around the 1:30 on Ubame's health circle.

Only 4 votes out of 13 for medal changes, so nothing changes here.
For the Nareko names, out of the two names suggested, I feel like a model with "Solve My Riddle" will be easier to come up with, but maybe a spark of inspiration will come to someone with "Stake Your Life on This Ball"

Also someone asked for a new kit. Currently we have:
-Yuuka kit, which is red and white
-Clownpiece kit, which is red, white and blue
-Hekate Welcome Hell kit, which is black with a multicolor skirt.
So ideally a new one that isn't heavy on red or black and has an interesting design. There are plenty with Blue/White color, though both of those colors are already somewhat featured. Maybe something with green or yellow.
