That's just flatout wrong. Rin is one of the few aoe def down sources and extremely valuable because of how fucking HUGE def shred is in this game.

You just need Sepia to survive, since most of the damage comes from him applying curse dot stacks. He only cares about ailment accuracy to apply those stacks, so you can throw a bunch of HP or defense cards on him and call it a day. His skill multipliers also don't matter as much, so you can just level him up to 70 with level 1 skills.

Pazuzu is used to trigger those curse stacks early, so you can just run him with Eigaon for a cheap build.

A lot of it is RNG, as well as Sepia's A6, since that gives him some extra s1 stacks. Each curse stack deals 1% of the boss' HP before def down and dmg bonus/taken gets calculated, so when you stack up to 20 or so, it hits a lot. Pazuzu triggers the whole curse dot after Wonder uses his skill, and the boss will take the full curse dot damage again on his turn afterwards.

I don't have a Motoha to compare him to, but Sepia hits surprisingly hard, way more than what I ever expected out of him.

If I'm really lucky, all 14 land curse, on top of the 6-10 curse stacks that I already have on the boss up to that point. It's mostly rng so I wouldn't worry too much about it.

My turn order is smoko/sepia/vino/wonder. I don't know if it's the best, but it works for me.

That's the neat part, it's both. Overall we are accelerated, but some patches are still dragged out. The charitable explanation is that they are giving us more time to save, but in reality they haven't compensated us with more gems for the overall acceleration and if anything, they have actually removed some freebies. It's double fucked and part of why the game is dying since it constantly gets bad press.

1. She's the only friend of the group who is not a phantom thief. It feels so rough that the phantom thieves talk about their business and she has to be kept in the dark about it.

4. 90% of her dialogue is talking about her part time jobs. She literally is now just has the 'Part timer' title.

Ryujis awakenings are broadly good except A5 because it's not God Hand. If you aren't rolling for Meesa there will probably be phys weak bosses introduced when he comes out, and unless they jigger it so the bosses are somehow Ryuji resistant he would make a useable replacement for Meesa.
Rin drops off over game lifetime, but she's good/ok now and her A1 is pretty good. Does AOE def down/damage decrease, which is good for any sweeper fight. Obviously jonkler paired but also works on other AOE fights.
