Player housing is a waste of dev time. I don't see why people are excited for it. What are you going to do with your house? It doesn't tie into any gameplay systems. There is no reason to actually spend time there.

Same shit as Animal Crossing, the house is pointless unless I have a reason to be there. Animal Crossing revolves much more around running around the area, interacting with your neighbors and gathering stuff. The "decorating your house" part is almost entirely pointless.

While there is a house, AC's actual gameplay rarely interacts with it.

Furniture is going to be available from basically every thing in the game. There's going to be furniture from delves and dungeons and raids and pvp, world exploration and crafting, achievements and questing. It is being integrated with the wider world on basically every conceivable level. And yet there is still no value in actually placing those things in your house.

Transmog is part of my character, who I spend all of my time with. I see no value in decorating a house I won't be spending any time in.

If the house had some actual gameplay mechanics that encouraged me to spend time there (say, like the garrison did), that'd be a different matter. But as it stands, the house is purely cosmetic.

Point of Arthas is that he was being twisted and corrupted before he even picked up Frostmourne. Stratholme was just a tough call that had to be made. After that his lust for revenge gets most of his men, the mercenaries he fucked over killed and just straight up ignores/betrays Muradin for power.

The issue with his character is that after he picks up Frostmourne and becomes a DK, all the characters even years later still act like his acts as LK were his decision. After he picks up the sword he becomes like most DKs and is under Nerzhuls control, even moreso after he puts on the helm. But every character in the game acts like what Arthas did was a "betrayal". Even at his most depraved Arthas would never have murdewred his own father and ransacked his own kingdom.
