I'll praise Bamco for once because the Gundam game is very unlike them since they always listen to feedback and implement Qol based on what people asked for. They also handled the balance of strong free units and strong gacha units so it's not a surprise it was a success.

On GK's side this is one of the stingiest gachas if you never paypig but if you stick to one to two idols to 担当 then it becomes bearable. GK is carried by good characters, stories and a unique gameplay. So good job on Bamco for managing to reignite interest in the im@s franchise again.

The main thing with Saki is she's currently the only one with stakes in winning Summer HIF because she already was crowned PS in the HC.

Note that I know that these are two very different scenarios (This was in the Unit division, winning HIF doesn't really mean you become PS and Vice versa) where they shouldn't really be compared but most jp people are definitely doing this and will be just as annoying as with Kotone's route. I'm sure they will be annoying too when Temari loses Summer HIF.

U149 anime was always going to be a hard selll considering it's a spin-off of a spin-off of a long-standing franchise. It was just too hard to standout amongst the modern seasonal anime lineup.
Even if the product was very good most of the people watching were going to be Ps (or unironic lolicons).

Miriani was jusy way, way too late in the branch's life to make the impact people expected/wanted.
I have met some Ps who got into im@s because of it so it wasn't all wasted potential.

SC anime was just a bad idea. They would have needed some real talent and effort to make a representative adaptation of the more experimental aesthetics of the branch. Instead we got literal shit made by poos.
