It took me a while to figure out why the shooting felt like it transformed into total dogshit moving from the beta into retail. I could see that frequently my bullets would go fucking nowhere but I couldn't figure out why I couldn't reproduce it in the firing range.

It turns out they added absolutely insane accuracy bloom directly following a sprint, even if you come to a complete stop. Your bullets literally fly out of your gun at 35 degree angles immediately following a sprint. Total casualization bullshit and total capitulation to faggots that sit prone in corners.

Bot kills and statistics derived from bot kills contribute to your 'SBMM' (skill based matchmaking) rank, and farming a bunch of bots immediately rockets you into the top bracket of "skill" inhabited by hackers, fellow bot farmers, or legitimately talented gamers.
Yes, this game has SBMM. The only way to avoid it is to join specific self hosted servers. Otherwise SBMM will place you vs other people in your "kill bracket", and with a ridiculous kdr/headshot ratio from farming bots, that means top 10%. Where you probably don't belong.
So, avoid fucking yourself, only use bot servers for your daily or weekly tasks. Play the normal game naturally and you will feel more comfortable, and not wind up in sweat-city by surprise.
If being among the top 10% of players sounds like fun to you? Then great, you will stay there in SBMM if you farm bots.

SBMM is seemingly last-session based, not career based. Simply throw hard or fuck around for a match or two, maybe drive C4 jeeps into people or tanks for a bit or play melee assault. 'Redeploying' counts as a death, so you can do something like play recon and spam mines everywhere while redeploying. Magdump at doritos and dont hit anything to get your bad accuracy session stat going.

After you've shit yourself like a fucking retard for about an hour, quit the game and wait 15-30 minutes, then start back up and play some normal multiplayer.
Like magic, you will be back among the typical mouth breathers where you know you belong.

The G3 is a beast, I've ditched both the M7 and the HK417. 3-shot kill up to like 20m, 4-shot kill from there out, really manageable recoil. Slow ROF and 20 round mag but honestly, I don't care. It's called 'sweet spot bracket'. Every sniper has a different range bracket for 'sweet spot' sniping, which is a fatal shot in the upper chest/neck area.

The secret is that most assault rifles literally do not get any reduction in damage beyond 35M. In fact every assault rifle in the game caps out in damage reduction at about 35M.

It should be one of the only few assault rifles in the game with a default of 33 damage at 35M. There's no reason to use it otherwise since 35M isn't even that far. You'll fucking annihilate someone at 50M with the M433.

The M4A1 or the M433?
M433 kills quicker at all ranges with less slightly less predictablity with slightly more recoil. M433's extended barrel pushes its effective range above what it usually is and its quicker to unlock.
M433 hipfires better, shoots quicker. Same reload, same ADS, same headshot multi.
Mid range in the game for ARs is like barely anything. It's like 25-30m. Beyond that nothing matters other than recoil control and precision stats.

M4A1 is super fast if you need something that allows you to get the drop on anyone. Good for solo-play, okay enough for squad-sticking.
G3 is fucking perfect for overall team play and select-fire might be the most accurate of all ranged options in the game on the G3.
Honestly the first 2 ARs are pretty amazing with the first 2 Carbines following the same pattern.

None of my friends want to learn the game. I can't get any of them to do any sort of support role at all besides reviving. I was an engineer with a stinger and a friend was a recon and it took like 30 minutes to teach him how to paint a target and then he just stopped doing it. When I'm recon, I do it for randos. It saved FPS when it was needed most. You have to understand the absolute state of the genre. There is literally nothing else remotely decent enough to play. FPS never recovered from the downward spiral of 2020-2022. BF6 for all of its flaws and mediocrity is holding the genre together by itself.
