That's the main area where the game really needs work. You have no options for how you play. You're always gonna' end up in a situation where you can't establish any kind of of control of the fights you're taking and success tends to feel like luck more than having a good plan and execution. I don't like that shit. Too many times I'll make a stealth approach, take a dude out and immediately get shot in the back. Makes no sense that the coast would be totally clear and then killing one person brings some asshole to me from behind immediately. I think they need to do a pass and remove some of the visual clutter so we can see a little better. Lots of objects in the game are positioned at head glitch level. No. You can move your elbow almost just as fast as your wrist in reality. You want low sensitivity for more accurate small adjustments.

I have no idea, I quit about 2 or 3 months after release. But the nerfs did irreversible damage. I hear they way over-compensated to where max difficulty was a joke which is probably what you were talking about.
The problem was that they were nerfing perfectly balanced guns early on. It was one retarded dev that didn't playtest anything, he just looked at numbers and decided too many people were having fun with things. If the gun was used a lot, then just nerf it. But don't ever actually go in and playtest it.
They farted out so many untested balance patches and when the game was finally unrecognizably awful, they all went on vacation and said they'd test patches better before releasing them. Which sounds nice, but it's even worse because the game was already broken. That was the time it needed urgent fixes, not carefully tested ones. They needed to just undo all the nerfs and work from there.

People really are so tunnel visioned on shooting shit that they don't even notice that there are never helicopters battling in the sky. I admit I didn't even notice until day 3 when I got in an AA tank and realized there wasn't a single thing in the sky to aim at on soijak city.
