I'm reading what was said. I believe that 'real people' do indeed have a problem with Sena Bryer and the decision making apparatus that put this sheman into that protagonists position to begin with. Naoki Yoshida claims he approves of all the material personally so if anyone has a problem with it, he is the one to blame. The rot at the core of the decision making here isn't just ThunderCunt Kate putting a tranny VA in the game out of spite. It's the same rot that put the unappealing and unlikable furry character in such an overtly prominent role while devolving the story to begin with. The VIIR trilogy is the perfect encapsulation of the spirit of Final Fantasy. New gaming experiences with each installment while keeping at least one foot in the territory of familiarity.
