How does one troubleshoot the game just freezing and requiring task manager to kill the process?

Actually Vortex doesn't seem to comprehend that. I got Bijin to overwrite some Coldsun NPCs, because Coldsun suffers from a crippling syndome of a sameface, and even when I set Bijin to overwrite it, the faces still look fucked up.

On the other hand OpenMW has other cool shit that MWSE won't be able to recreate like actually working combat AI or dynamic NPC schedule system. And a physics engine.
But yeah, I miss Ashfall and Immersive Travel. But allegedly this one's doable in OpenMW, because all we need is a proper crafting framework and this relies on being able to create custom interactions with clutter that OpenMW doesn't have yet, but may get in the future. Or something.
In general 90% of Merlord's mods work on this very crafting framework.

I took a look at the hands and see that they mismatch with default 3BA bodies. I fixed up the hand meshes as best as I could in Outfit Studio. Now the seam is much less noticeable.

My issue with TR is that I never have enough incentive to actually explore the mainland. I guess Tribunal provides one, but you technically still can't get to Mournhold on foot. The MQ technically sends you onto the mainland for the Telvanni Hortator quest, but seriously, fuck Telvanni and their stupid mushroom towers. I am running out of levitation spells.
