I joined just before Tarus cup and didn't really know what it was. Found out about Gemini cup and didn't train for it and used an auto-select team. Won B finals which gave me a rush to actually try for Cancer. Struggled with making good parents and eventually had to settle for an ok one because I was running out of time to train Aces. Managed to make 2 (imo) decent Aces that took me to A finals which I am honestly happy for. But the race was such bad rng on my end with skills not procing and terrible luck blocking that it didn't feel good to lose like that. Still took 3rd which I'm happy with.
I love this game but sweating as much as I did this CM was making it unfun. If I go at the rate I am I'm gonna burn out and quickly resent this.
I'll just take time to work on having a good foundation before sculpting a statue.

Yesterday I was joining rooms to see if summer maru was as scary as people claimed. I looked at her skills and wasn't impressed, but figured I might have missed something. The answer is no. She's just not that good. The best use of her unique isn't actually to try to carryover speed, but to use it earlier to win the mid race. There's no point trying to carry over speed if seiun is escape artisting past you and bakushin/falcon is just racing out in front already.
