Kotone's route is just a mess it destroyed every setup they had in Hajime in order to turn her into a Shuki Shuki machine. It clearly worked since nips like her. Kotone has a lot of problems with her problems being handwaved with "P and Kotone worked hard! They made a million in 6 months!" to her being a "dance idol" despite having 0 dance songs or 0 dance feats. At this point I consider Saki the dancer for the main trio and just stick Kotone to visual.

I don't know which characters Oreimoman wrote the route for in NIA but his Temari's and Ume's routes were really good both of which are in my top 3. Kotone's NIA's biggest problem is that it's just a flat out way worse version of Sena's NIA that makes way less sense
Saki's NIA has a similar problem with Ume's but with her it's just that Ume has the same story beats but with more meat
At Misuzu's NIA was more distinct compared to Temari at least and it does a good job of making it feel like you're producing the antagonist
