C. Viper doesn't really feel like a leverless-friendly character. On stick it's a bit more manageable since you can end motion inputs with either UB or UF to get relatively easy SJCs, on leverless it's just painful for your fingers. Also Neutral SOCD can just eat up up inputs for SJCs if you aren't trying to leverage some frames between down and up.

Juri is my main and pretty much the only one I play constantly which made me quit a year ago out of boredom from her not getting any real changes patch after patch but I thought since I enjoyed playing Viper back in the day I'd come back a few months before she came out to warm up again. After about 3 hours I felt more annoyed playing her even when I did win. Juri feels simpler and I sorta already know what I'm supposed to do with her like pretty much every shoto in the game, but it doesn't feel like Viper does anything cool enough on screen to make me wanna pick her up since she requires 2 times as more brain power with how she handles drive for her extra stuff. A big part of it might be that Giovanna sorta replaced her in my mind since I mained her in strive because she fills the same "brawler woman in a suit" I liked so I sorta dont see her as a niche cool archetype I'm willing to work for like I did years ago. I wonder if Cody and Poison will be the same since they are the only others I want in 6 and I haven't played them since 4.

to be fair, when a game is so dumbed down, its easier to play without knowing a lot of things in the game. Like I don't know the details of some interesting interactions between lot of special moves because I have no reason to investigate and I never needed to do anything more than drive rush and drive impact. When a game is hard and complex, it makes people want to learn more about it and get better.
