According to the mechanics doc, the recalculation is a post first anniversary mechanic, so it may be an oversight that it's currently a thing on umalator (it's ported to global from being a JP sim, after all). If you want to check for sure, you'd probably have to set up hackeranon's race parser and try it out ingame.
