So. I've been constantly rerunning a certain GTA stage. I happened to upgrade my team so that it just about beat the level with 0 seconds remaining. But the thing is it doesn't succeed every time. This made me curious so I did a bunch of reruns and looked at the damage my units were doing. Every run was different, despite the level having no RNG from cards. So the combat/AI is not deterministic. And so far from maybe 10 runs I've seen as much as 100k difference in damage from my hardest hitter.

Then I stopped, thinking that I'll just let people work out the optimal strategies. Now when I check again, that score gets me in top 7. And it worked after a few tries but only got me 2 stars. Then I proceeded to just try out 20-9 immediately and suddenly passed it too but also with 2 stars. Now I'm on 20-10. And it is filtering me hard. The very last round almost instantly kills my team even with the high level rented unit, and even if I have the shield and defense cards.

I read a post saying that the best monthly pass is the star candy pass? Is that true? I have all of monthly ones except that one
