piper's also not a bad option, since piper's passive raises the team's DMG, and on lucy M6 can summon lots of pigs. but you'd probably want caesar as well to keep piper spinning without dieing so you can switch back to lucy.
lucy's actually not terrible on-field, as her basic attacks loop extremely well, allowing for easy dodges (and building up fire), and her EXs have lots of iframes.

The only design I truly think is bad is Seed. The giant robot being the accessory to the character is probably the most blind and deaf move anyone could make, for one thing. That's the most contentious point but also the least relevant to her design so feel free to ignore that.

I don't think anyone really likes her outfit and if anyone does, I don't think anyone can really explain what it's supposed to be or why she's wearing it. I can usually ignore weird anime designs but usually, they're supposed to look the part of whatever group they're a part of. I've complain about this before, but some other factions are wearing uniforms and all of them have variations of that uniform. You know who of all people should be wearing uniforms out of anyone? Military personnel in the same military squad. S11 has a dress/skirt thing but at least it looks tactical. Trigger is showing off her midsection, but the rest of her outfit is tactical. The banner A rank, Monato, is a very strong unit for an A rank. If you decide to spend your polychromes this banner he will be a solid pick up for a new account, especially if you luckshit a Lucia from it as well.
Nicole is also a top tier support. Invest in her. Soukaku is more niche but still great in her teams.
S11 is one of the weaker S ranks but fine for early game. She is rumored to be getting a buff soon.
Just play through the story and have fun. Dont rush to endgame. The game has a million modes and tutorials to hand hold you while you build up your account.
