It's actually really wild how much PC gaming has grown in the AAA market since the pandemic.
It has doubled in the last half decade.

That being said, BF6 is optimized to run on older machines so the numbers are a bit inflated from where they would be if this were a more demanding title.
Still though, I expect GTA6 to take less time to come to PC because of this than 5 did.

Yeah just aim basically a little above the target and lob one. There is a max range but for the most part, it’ll reliably find the target and come down on it. You don’t need LOS. So if you’re firing behind hard cover there’s literally nothing the tank can do.

For anyone else doing this. the challenges that require you to do stupid stuff can all be completed very quickly using the tank mission. After you've rescued the guy from the helicopter, just return to the menu during the cutscene. When you load back in, it will put you at the checkpoint near the end, which lets you complete most of these challenges in under 5 minutes.

How do BF6 maps compare to previous maps in the series in terms of gameplay and sandbox?
I remember not having a good time on any of the maps in the alpha.

Them changing tickets on some of these maps with their reasoning being "well, some games ran out of time" is dumb.

Game at its core is fantastic. Bugged challenges and absolutely DOGSHIT breakthrough map setups it just maps in general are going to kill this fucking game. Also. I think the mortar is bugged to fuck. I played with it for a while today. A shitload if suppression assists but no damage. Which means people are being splashed and not affected by the actual damage. Lastly. If you could be so kind. So we can see what you guys get as well for testing. Go into network settings and turn on the damage and event tracker. And see how many shots are dropped. Just check for a game that’s all we need. Usually in a burst vs a target. Let’s say I shoot six rounds. All hit on client. Server will only kick back 4-5 rounds hit on the target. This was consistent for about 3 games while I tracked it with some friends. Who also had the same issue. This is why your ttk feels so dogshit. And fights feel weird. If you’re used to battlefield or shooters and know how many hit markers should lead to a kill. Please if you read this post. Reply with your findings. So I can group the results and submit a bug report. Thanks for reading.

The game's alright, but I gotta confess I had more fun in BF1, the last one I played. I could spend hours playing Oil of Empires or Iron Walls back to back (Monte Grappa final point defence with 50 tickets left on the attacker side, blimp raining fire on you from above, and the ending OST kicking in in full force, pure kino), and even the meatgrinder maps like Fort de Vaux didn't seem to be this cancerous. Maybe it's just rose-tinted nostalgia though.
I'm having fun in bf6 but the cqc modes are cancer, the urban maps have a tendency to feel like I'm trying to deal with a particularly bad cockroach problem as they pour out of every fucking crevice in every fucking wall. I don't much like Mirak Valley and Sobek City either.
The drone is fun though. I'd like to give myself credit for winning the team two breakthrough attacks tonight because of it, running around with an smg, 3d spotting the entire enemy team, and blowing people up with their own AT mines.

I've fucked around with all the weapon types, apart from the way that hip-firing works (in that it turns guns into lasers) the rest of the guns operate as you would expect from an arcade shooter. Some have recoil, some don't have as much, it can be predicted and either handled when firing full auto by aiming downwards or just tap firing at long ranges. Even the basic bitch LMGs on full auto can be managed at medium/long ranges just fine, in fact they're better than all the other weapons because you can full auto entire squads without having to reload.

In a perfect world, hip firing would be a last resort hail mary to survive, not an entire play style that rivals even aiming down sights at medium ranges but zoomers gotta zoom and BF is dead.

P90 is great if you're clearing out rooms. 5 shots to kill and 50 bullets means you can air out an entire room without having to reload.

You get into those situations too rarely for that to be the only factor worth considering. SGX/MP5 can do the same thing with their long mags, and have the ability to full auto laser enemies from 30m+. The giant viewmodel and inability to use low profile ironsights is still a deal breaker for me, even if it can shoot fine. I'm liking this for mid-range encounter maps. No one is really running 100 round LMGs so it seems like it's catching people off guard when I just lay on the trigger. The high rate of fire makes it kill pretty quick.
