It's hard but it depends on the zoner and the player. World of difference between Vikky and Metera for example.

I hate the Metera matchup but unless you are Monarch (only Metera I haven't taken a set from even if I can win games at least from the 3~4 times I have seen him in ranked) or someone like that I don't actually have that much trouble because most Meteras autopilot a lot. Stuff like far H into butterfly or rain of arrows which you can medium dash on reaction and punish her. Generally you have to do the dreaded walk and block. You will struggle against them a bit but its part of playing him. Try to not stock up unless you are sure they can't punish you as most zoners can do it on reaction with an ult skill.

If you actually play the nooch with Lucy it's a rough time because all he can do most the time is jesus kick.
Lucy himself also has a lot of trouble enforcing his game state now, they gave him too much on bea patch then rolled it back... but other characters have gotten buffed while he got pulled back.
